A gang of nine Asian men who, in a case that follows the pattern set by similar cases in Rotherham, Rochdale, Birmingham, Newcastle, Oxford, Sheffield, Blackburn, Telford and many other towns which has large Muslim populations in Britain,groomed, raped and abused two teenage girls from a care home were jailed for a total of 132 years at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.

The victims both aged 14 at the time of the abuse, were plied with drink and drugs to desensitise them prior to being forced to have sex with multiple partners. The paedophiles also employed threats and physical violence to groom and sexually abuse the girls in hotels happy to rent rooms by the hour in Bradford.

Sentencing the gang, Judge Durham Hall said: "The damage and hurt you have caused for your sexual pleasure has been revealed to all, and the lengths some of you went to corrupt and groom a girl are truly appalling."

The six-week trial mirrored many in recent years in which gangs of men, typically migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh, with a sprinking of Somalis, have groomed and abused vulnerable teenage girls.

In a reference to previous cases, Judge Hall said: "No court in England and Wales seems to have escaped grooming by groups or individuals of vulnerable young persons. As the knowledge of the opportunity to take advantage of damaged young people spreads, it is not uncommon for young men to get involved."

Addressing the defendants, he added: "In the trial it was clear you didn't get it, and some of you still do not get it now."

In a victim impact statement one girl said: "I have the most irrational thoughts because of anxiety. I have a fear of going to the shops, and very rarely go to restaurants or out on an evening with friends. I was manipulated, used, nothing but a toy to play with."

The second victim, Fiona Goddard, now 25, who waived her right to anonymity, said: "I showed signs of a promising future and wanted to be a lawyer. Because of the abuse I dropped out of school and was in trouble with police. Rebuilding my life has been hard while my abusers walk the streets, but hopefully getting justice is the first step towards this."

The allegations came to light in 2014 when one of the victims contacted the BBC after seeing a report on the sexual abuse of hundreds of young girls in Rotherham.

According to Superintendent Eileen Shafer, the program will also launch at Paterson School # 5 where she believes as many as 30% of the students will choose the new option while 15% may do so at JFK to comply with religious dietary requirements. The program is projected to eventually reach every school in the city, Shafer added.

On hand was Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman, a former member Paterson City Council, who explained the religious significance of Halal culinary fare.

“Halal meat such as chicken, cattle, or goats, is slaughtered and prepared to follow the (inhumane and barbaric) Islamic way,” Akhtaruzzaman said. “Muslims do not eat pork. For food to qualify as Halal, it cannot be fried or mixed with other food that is non-Halal.”

Citing cost as an impediment previously Akhtaruzzaman, a native of Bangladesh, said that efforts to introduce Halal food options to the school’s menus date back to 2011. “We tried back then and the school board was open to it. However the only place we could get Halal food was from Dearborn, Michigan. It was too expensive.”

Meals to feed as many as 500 students were prepared at JFK on the first day of the pilot program Dave Buchholtz, Director of Food Services, said. While the food trucked to the school is all the same its in the preparation, which food services have been specially trained in, that makes the difference.

The previous lack of a Halal food option meant that “there were a number of students in Paterson schools that were not afforded three meals a day,” Board of Education Commissioner Nakima Redmon said. (Ever hear of bringing a bag lunch?)

“It is very important for them to have access to food that also considers their culture submits to their religious demands..”

Tommy Robinson, founder of the English-Defence League, has been banned from Facebook and Instagram after the social media company said he repeatedly breached its policies on hate speech.

“Tommy Robinson’s Facebook Page has repeatedly broken these standards, posting material that uses dehumanizing language and calls for violence targeted at Muslims,” Facebook announced in a blog post explaining the decision.

Robinson, birth name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, violated Facebook's rules against bullying and public incitement to violence, especially against those of certain protected characteristics. It is very noticeable that these rules are not applied equally to those of 'protected characteristics' when they call fot the extermination of all infidels, all straight, white males, or all Jews.

Robinson was reportedly given a final written warning by Facebook last month, advising him that he would be banned sine die if he continued to violate the rules. The warning was allegedly prompted by a call to behead those who follow the Koran, another to “make war” on Muslims, and various videos showing people being harassed and bullied. none of which, it must be said, are actually recalled by people who visit Robinson's site. Possibly the most offensive thing a visitor might have seen is an example of Robinson exposing the left wing bias of the BBC and showing how they edit interviews to suit their political agenda.

Following the warning, Facebook claim Robinson further breached the company policy by organizing an event with Gavin McInnes and his controversial group The Proud Boys, in addition to repeated posts with inflammatory language targeting specific groups in society. Some of this reportedly included calls for violence against these groups based on ethnicity, race and national origin.

Robinson will join McInnes as well as InfoWars founder Alex Jones on Facebook’s permaban list, each having already been banned from Twitter. The move adds to the Silicon Valley giant’s attempts to clamp down on hate speech.

The decision of Spain's political leader, the socialist Predro Sanchez to dissolve his government and call a general election appears to have backfired, putting the EU in a panic as Eurosceptic parties look set to take control of the nation that has the Eurozone's fouth largest economy, and govern from an anti - Brussels platform and clamp down on illegal immigration from third world nations. Following the election of a nationalist coalition in Italy last year, this looks like being another blow to the the Globalist establishment.

As I reported last week, right-wing parties in Spain look set to win enough seats in the national assembly to hold a parliamentary majority in April’s snap election, according to a leading opinion. Since the win for 'Brexit' in the UK referendum, the victory of Donald Trump in the 2016 US Presidential Election and the rise of Lega in Italy, Rassemblement National in France and the AfD party in Germany, as well as a surge of nationalism across the Eu memner nations, we have all learned not to place any faith in polls.

The numbers however show that centre right and right parties PP, Ciudadanos and Vox could gain just enough seats to control the Cortes Generales, Spain's parliament. The poll suggests the three parties will win the biggest share of the seats with around 169 to 179 being secured. Sigma Dos poll, which was published in newspaper El Mundo, concludes this will be enough to get a majority from the 350 seats.

The prime minister Pedro Sanchez’s Spanish Socialist Workers' Party will only gather around 110 seats, the biggest share of seats but some way of gaining power. Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez urged Europeans to fight the “winds of xenophobia” undermining European solidarity on Sunday.

“Across Europe, the winds of xenophobia are blowing,” he said in Argeles-sur-Mer, a seaside town across in southern France, close to the Spanish border, where he was paying tribute to refugees who fled the fascist regime of Francisco Franco which grabbed control of Spain after a brutal civil war in the 1930s. “There is no place for indifference. Don't look the other way. “We cannot think that anti-Semitism, homophobia, xenophobia and nationalism are insignificant winds that will slowly die down,” he told his audience, in an attempt to rally support for the EU's druve towards a federal European superstate.

He also pointed to the attack on a Jewish cemetery in eastern France last week, where some 90 graves were spray-painted with swastikas and anti-Semitic slogans and to the ongoing tensions over migrants arriving to Europe by sea from Africa, denouncing the “ports which refuse to let ships full of sick and hungry people dock. This is the idea of Europe. The idea on which has been built the best period humanity has known,” he added.

Since Mr Sanchez called the snap election last week it has been predicted that a coalition of right wing, Eurosceptic and nationalist parties will win enough seats to form a stable government.

A spokesperson for the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party told CNN the right-wing group's team up has created difficulties for the party. The spokesperson added: “It’s an agreement between right-wing forces and the extreme right, which is being sanitised.”

The conservative People's Party, the latest poll shows, will get 71-75 seats, while the centre-right Ciudadanos will take 54-58.

The far-right party Vox will win 44-46 seats, according to the poll and are the surprise party in this Spanish election cycle. Five years ago Spain’s break-out party, Podemos became the rising star of Europe’s confused and ineffectual far left. But with a snap election just weeks away the left of centre, but anti Brussels party looks to be among the also rans before a vote has been cast, and appears to be facing a crash as spectacular as its rise. Has the leftwing populist / nationalist appeal of ponytailed rebel Pablo Iglesias and his gang of talented young thinkers proved a failure?

Podemos once topped the polls in the era of frangmentation in Spanish politics that has seen three successive elections produce inconclusive outcomes, it almost snatched leadership of Spain’s left from prime minister Pedro Sánchez’s Socialist party at the 2016 elections, but it is now only the voters’ fourth favourite party.

The far-right populist party Vox is also neck and neck in polling. In April, it is predicted, Vox will target the same working-class city neighbourhoods as Podemos – claiming that immigrants and Catalan separatists, not austerity, are the problem. Mainstream parties will undoubtedly argue that this is merely one version of populism replacing another. That misses the point.

Although major social changes have occurred since Podemos became the principal party of the working class indignado protesters theafter the 2014 European elections, the damage is largely self-inflicted. In the latest of a series of pointless, but typically left wing internal bust-ups, Iglesias’s former No 2, Iñigo Errejón, is leading an alternative coalition into elections for the powerful Madrid regional government in May.

Labour councils have been terminating the positions of embedded immigration officers in local councils due to pressure from Momentum Group bullies and open borders campaigners, who say officials are putting illegal migrants off accessing taxpayer-funded welfare. One has to ask what is it about the word 'illegal' these emotionally needy, virtue signalling planks find so difficult to understand about the word 'illegal'.

The London Borough of Lewisham, one of the most deprived areas of the British capital is one of a number of local authorities to make the move, The Guardian informs us. Labour mayor Damien Egan is reported to have vowed to turn the south-east London borough into one of sanctuary for illegal immigrants.

A report from self appointed migrant rights group Project 17 complained that the presence of Home Office immigration officers was deterring illegal immigrant “families” from seeking taxpayer-funded welfare and services, Egan said removing the officials embedded in the council would serve “to reassure vulnerable migrants that Lewisham will support them”.

Just what is wrong with these people? Illegal immigrants have no right to welfare benefits, they are criminals, having broken the law by entering the country without properly issued documents and permits. The only thing they have a right to is a place on the first boat or plane back to where their journey began.

A spokesman for the council, whose website periodically boasts about its moves to invite “record number[s] of refugees” to live at the expense of British taxpayers in the borough, admitted that the officers were sent to Lewisham to ease mounting costs “of millions of pounds in supporting residents with irregular immigration status”.

It almost goes without saying that Lewisham is one of the areas worst hit by the upsuge in violent crome since London's elected mayor Sadiq Khan ordered the city's police force to prioritise the prosecution of 'hate crime' over real crime where people get hurt or lose theor property.

French yellow vest protest organizers tried to tamp down violence and anti-Semitism in the movement's ranks as they prepared for the 15th straight weekend of demonstrations. Hundreds of people gathered Saturday at the Arc de Triomphe monument for a march through well-off neighborhoods to protest government policies that are widely seen see as favoring the rich. Multiple actions are planned for Saturday around Paris and in other cities.

Government sources claim support for the movement has diminised in recent weeks, but the anti government feeling remains strong. What should concern the authorities most is the movement has splintered, with extremist groups of left and right which have attached themselves to the movement trying to escalate violence and looting while more moderate activists are trying tokeep the movement strictly political. Outbreaks of violence continue in Paris and other large cities.

Online announcements for Saturday's marches appealed for peaceful action, and one of the weekend protests aims to stand up against anti-Semitism.

Extremist views of some protesters have erupted in a torrent of anti-Semitic insults at a noted philosopher on the sidelines of last weekend's Paris protest.

Catalonia separatists celebrate victory against the Madrid government - Picture source: The Independent

We reported earlier this month that spanish Prime MinisterPedro Sanchez had called a general election which will take place on 28 April, after his minority government saw its socialist budget voted down.

The election, which will be spain's third in under four years, is a further sign of an increasingly fragmented political scene in one of the EU's larger states, with the strength of Catalonia‘s independence movement, and the revival of the Basque separatist movement having been given impetus by Calalonia's progress having dominated recent debate.

Mr Sanchez was already under pressure from within his own Socialist party ranks to cut short his term as his government, with only 85 seats in the 350 member Cortes, the Spanish Nayional Assembly, lost his weak parliamentary support this week after Catalan separatists joined opposition politicians to vote down his government’s 2019 national spending plans.

Recent opinion polls suggest no single can win enough votes to rule on its own, which is what we expect in Spain..

Immediately after the coalition’s soft coup last summer, Spain’s immigration policy changed dramatically with Sanchez declaring 'open doors' to all comers. Consequently, as has happened across The West when immigration policies unravel and large numbers of unskilled, uneducated, semi literate third world peasants and labourers start to flood into civilised nations, chaos inevitably ensues and voters turn to the more socially conservative parties for solutions.

This has happened on a consistent basis since Brexit and Trump won the day in 2016 – in Hungary, Czech, Austria, Italy and it is now happening in Spain, too. Even in Sweden and Germany, the once dominant (globalist) Social Democrats have lost their hegemony, while in France the populist yellow vest protest movement, three months after it started, is spawning paramilitary groups in response the President Macron's refusal to listen to his people and heavy handed use of The Gendarmerie to suppress protests.

The latest polls in Spain suggest that a centre-right and nationalist groups will easily regain key regions and large cities, such as Madrid and Valencia, which have been held by left or socialist authorities for four years.

The centre-right PP party would, together with the centrist Ciudadanos Party and the right wing VOX party, win those regions as they did last December in Andalusia, Spain’s most socialist province, giving them enough strength to form a government. Local, regional and European elections are scheduled for the 26th of May, 2019 too. Almost certainly, the leftist-separatist coalition will lose heavily there too indeed Spanish pundits claim the left could face a total wipe out in elections to the European Parliament.

Stories such as that of an 18 year old Spanish girl in Sabadell, Catalonia, who was raped by six Moroccan immigrants are now only too common in Spain, as are reports of sex crimes perpetrated by immigrants in Germany, Sweden, France, The netherlands, Britain, Belgium and Italy. This kind of news story, which is easily authenticated, is toxic to those political groups who campaign for open borders and talk of the cultural enrichment immigration brings. Nobody wants their daughter, wife, sister or friends 'culturally enriched' by men who see nothing wrong in raping a European woman.

This swing to the right seen all over the European Union is a reaction to the lax border controls and welfare-for-all policies pushed on member states by the EU and enthusiastically embraced by the left and globalist centre parties. Spaniards have now started worrying about their security and where their taxed income goes. Far-right lawmakers are set to be elected to Spain's parliament for the first time in nearly four decades.

The far-right party Vox would win up to 46 seats out of 350, according to a GESOP poll published by the El Periodico newspaper, while the GAD3 polling firm for the La Vanguardia newspaper forecast 16 seats. Vox is a newcomer on the Spanish political scene, and pollsters had underestimated its score in a regional election in Andalusia in December, where the anti-immigration party won 12 seats. Memories of the dictatorship of Francisco Franco, who died in 1975, meant Spain had long been been immune to the growing popularity of far-right parties in much of Europe, but these worries have faded as Spain faces new threats to its social stability.

The audience at the BBC TV QUESTION Time political Q & A erupted into applause last night when a member of the public attacked a suggestion from one of the expert pannelists who said that Shamima Begum, the 'ISIS bride' who left the UK to support the bid of ISIS, the bid to recreate the medieva; Islamic Caliphate, should be allowed back into Britain.

Home Secretary Sajid Javid announced on Wednesday that Ms Begum will be stripped of her UK passport. The Government claims she is also entitled to a Bangladeshi passport, thus won’t be made stateless. However the Bangladeshi foreign minister has firmly denied that Ms Begum is a national.

Referring to the ISIS recruit the audience member commented: “She went out there, with a group that wreak havoc on our streets and whether you like it or not she helped or supported them.

CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan has broken ranks and admitted that journalists have lost their objectivity and become "political activists."

"There's no grey. It's all one way," said Logan.

"85% of journalists are registered Democrats," Logan said. "How do you know you’re being lied to? How do you know you’re being manipulated? How do you know there’s something not right with the coverage? When they simplify it all [and] there’s no grey. It’s all one way. Well, life isn’t like that. If it doesn’t match real life, it’s probably not. Something’s wrong. For example, all the coverage on Trump all the time is negative. … That’s a distortion of the way things go in real life."

Logan says that the heavy bias has warped people's ability to know what's really true.

"When you turn on your computer, or you walk past the TV, or you see a newspaper headline in the grocery store If they’re all saying the same thing, the weight of that convinces you that it’s true," said Logan. "You don’t question it, because everyone is saying it."

She also admitted that journalists today are more or less lobbyists for liberal interests, adding that the weight of the liberal media machine overwhelms "the other side" unless people actively seek outlets such as Breitbart.

Noting recent comments by former New York Times executive editor Jill Abramson, Logan said "Although the media has historically always been left-leaning, we’ve abandoned our pretense — or at least the effort — to be objective, today. … We’ve become political activists, and some could argue propagandists, and there’s some merit to that."

Logan said that MSM reports using anonymous or single government sources are bunk.

"That’s not journalism, it’s horseshit," she said - demanding more accountability.

"Responsibility for fake news begins with us."

As has been predicted for a while now, by both mainstream media ans alt_news commentators, the UK's far left Labour Party which has been tprn by internicine conflict since current leader Jeremy Corbyn, the long serving Trotskyite Member of Parliament for one of London's most fashionable inner city communities, became its leader. Labour, which once styled itself The People's Party is now the rich, trendy, virtue signalling party. And with its core support among immigrant communities and university brainwahed media professionals, it has little need to concern itself with the white working class, many of whom will always vote Labour for the welfare benefits, while others continue to vote for the party because their fathers and grandfathers did.

When seven Members of Parliament (MPs) announced their resignation today, not only did they come from a broad political spectrum within the party and a wide age range, they all cited the party's anti - Semitism under Corbyn's leadership as their main reason for leaving. They are:

The prominent role taken buy Ummuna in the breakaway suggests this group are a Blairite, globalist faction and even further removed from the party's working class gras roots than Corbyn's far left, intellectual supporters.

Stephen Kinnock MP, son of the former Labour leader Neil Kinnock, had predicted that there would “probably be some kind of splintering” over the weekend, when he urged the rebels to “stay in and fight” to take the party back from the extreme left Momentum group unleashed by Stalinist deputy leaders John McDonnell. which has become the source of most anti - Semitism within the Labour movement?

But how and when did the party that were it honest would call itself "The Jew - hating Labour Party," become anti - Semitic? How is partly the lurch to the left under Corbyn, with his supporters being formly on the side of victim-state Palestine in their low key war with capitalst Israel, 'when' is quite recently it seems.

Jewish Labour MP Luciana Berger, explaining her decision to leave Labour at a press conference this morning, said she was “embarrassed and ashamed” by the party that was once known for its Jewish roots in Britain's major cities. She has frequently spoken out about the abuse she has received from fellow Labour members in recent years, challenged Corbyn on his alleged anti-Semitism problem, and even had a bodyguard at last year’s Labour conference.

Also speaking at the launch of the new ‘Independent Group’ of 'centrist' (i.e. Europhile,) Members of Parliament who have, after much speculation, finally launched a break away from the Labour Party. Chukka Umunna has complained of a “broken” politics with parties that can’t represent the key political factors of the day. It is clear that Umunna is one of the leading figures behind this new party that isn’t yet a party, so it is worth looking at his comments to get a feel for where the group will position itself on the political spectrum, beyond the anti - Semitism headlines, Brexit and the crime wave in Sadiq Khan's London.

The big issue behind Umunna’s comments is a clear feeling that Britain’s politics is “broken” — his colleagues in the group also spoke of voters feeling “politically homeless”. In fact he has taken the wromg path by choosing the globalist route, Labour's traditional voters in the old industrial areas of Britain are abandoning Labour because they feel the party has abandoned its working clas supporters, and here is Ummuna,talking to billionaires and corporate investors, rather than the people whose votes he needs.

Following the schism, Dr Moshe Kantor, the President of the European Jewish Congress, spoke out to further highlight Labour’s anti-Semitism problem, calling on Corbyn himself to act to stamp out the hate within his party.

Facebook and its executives were labeled "digital gangsters" by a UKParliamentary inquiry into the social media giant's abuse of users privacy and collection of personal data from the devices of internet users who do not even have a Facebook account. The company should immediately be subject to statutory regulation the report published at the conclusion of the 18-month investigation by the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport  parliamentary committee recommended. 

The UK setback comes as rumours are circulating widely that the Silicon Valley tech giant is currently negotiating a multibillion-dollar settlement with the US Federal Trade Commission for similar offences to those it is accused of in Britain. If the US fine story is correct it will represent the largest penalty ever handed out to a tech company in agency history. 

The UK report from the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee, for which Zuckerberg sealed his fate by not appearing to answer the committee's questions, found that Facebook purposefully obstructed its inquiry, according to The Guardian, while the social media giant failed to tackle Russian attempts to manipulate elections. That one is rather fanciful but hey, the Russians have to be blamed for everything, right.

"Democracy is at risk from the malicious and relentless targeting of citizens with disinformation and personalised ‘dark adverts’ from unidentifiable sources, delivered through the major social media platforms we use every day," warned Damian Collins, chairman of the committee.  The Guardian, reveals the report: 

• Accuses Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s co-founder and chief executive, of contempt for parliament in refusing three separate demands for him to give evidence, instead sending junior employees unable to answer the committee’s questions.
• Warns British electoral law is unfit for purpose and vulnerable to interference by hostile foreign actors, including agents of the Russian government attempting to discredit democracy.
• Calls on the British government to establish an independent investigation into “foreign influence, disinformation, funding, voter manipulation and the sharing of data” in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum, the 2016 EU referendum and the 2017 general election.

"We need new independent regulation with a tough powers and sanctions regime to curb the worst excesses of surveillance capitalism and the forces trying to use technology to subvert our democracy," said Labour party deputy leader Tom Watson, adding that "Labour agrees with the committee’s ultimate conclusion – the era of self-regulation for tech companies must end immediately."

In short - people are too stupid to know when they're reading fake news, (which probably comes from Russia, ahem) and the UK government must now step in to control the flow of information, citizen. While the US and UK governments and organisations like the EU are right to stop the abuses of privacy by companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon, but we net users must resist attempts by government to use privacy abuse scandals as an excuse to impose censorship on web content.

The UK's Parliamentary inquiry was launched in 2017 in order to analyze fake news over social media, and had its scope widened in March 2018 in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica data harvesting scandal.

 The Guardian again:

The committee argues that, had Facebook abided by the terms of an agreement struck with US regulators in 2011 to limit developers’ access to user data, the scandal would not have occurred. “The Cambridge Analytica scandal was facilitated by Facebook’s policies,” it concludes. The 108-page report makes excoriating reading for the social media giant, which is accused of continuing to prioritise shareholders’ profits over users’ privacy rights. -The Guardian

The report stated, "Facebook continues to choose profit over data security, taking risks in order to prioritise their aim of making money from user data," reads the report, which concludes that "It seems clear to us that Facebook acts only when serious breaches become public." 

The report makes some strong personal criticisms of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg over his outrageous statement that Facebook has never sold user data - a claim the report concludes is "simply untrue." 

"Mark Zuckerberg continually fails to show the levels of leadership and personal responsibility that should be expected from someone who sits at the top of one of the world’s biggest companies," said committee chair Collins in a statement. 

Labour Party deputy leader Tom Watson piled in, adding "Few people have treated our parliamentary democracy with contempt in the way Mark Zuckerberg has."

"If one thing is uniting politicians of all colours during this difficult time for our country, it is our determination to bring him and his company into line."  The report reveals Facebook is using its market dominance to crush rivals - using various technologies to prevent them from competing with Facebook or its subsidiaries. 

In response to the parliamentary report, Facebook gave a typical response, saying it was "pleased to have made a significant contribution," adding that "We are open to meaningful regulation and support the committee’s recommendation for electoral law reform." So Zuckerberg thinks insulting the government of a nation where many users reside by ignoring their request that her personally answered questions is a 'significant contribution?' The man isn't right in the head.

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova has again come under fire for comments about transgender women in sport, reiterating her belief that some of the rules currently in place are “insane and cheating,” and unfair to other women.

Navratilova predictably attracted a lot of hate attacks from left wing idiots and transgender fascists back in December 2018 when she tweeted: “You can't just proclaim yourself a female and be able to compete against women.

“There must be some standards, and having a penis and competing as a woman would not fit that standard.”

She's right of course, it is scientifically proven that a male has a penis and testes and a woman has a vagina and ovaries, but ironically the people who scream and shout that we must "believe the science" on climate change, are quite happy to go against scientific facts when it comes to defending one of their sacred cow causes.

The 18-time Grand Slam winner was accused of “bullying” (agian that's ironic coming from the biggest bullies in political activism, the Tranny lobby,) and being “discriminatory” with the comments, and was involved in a particularly bitter spat with Canadian transgender cyclist, chick-with-a-dick, Rachel McKinnon.

Navratilova, 62, later apologized if her comments had been construed as transphobic, and vowed to “educate myself better on this issue [and] meantime I will be quiet about it.”

But the tennis great has now plunged back into the row with an article in The Sunday Times. In it, the Czech-born legend says she has looked further into the issue, and that her views “have strengthened.”

Of course they have. Anybody would feel miffed if they had simply told the truth and had then been bullied into apologising for that hrinous crime by a bunch of girlie men and hairy arsed, dildo weilding dykes.

“To put the argument at its most basic: a man can decide to be female, take hormones if required by whatever sporting organisation is concerned, win everything in sight and perhaps earn a small fortune, and then reverse his decision and go back to fatherimg babies if he so desires,” wrote Navratilova, who is a prominent gay rights campaigner.

“It’s insane and it’s cheating. I am happy to address a transgender woman in whatever form she prefers, but I would not be happy to compete against her. It would not be fair,” she added.

“Simply reducing hormone levels – the prescription most sports have adopted – does not solve the problem.

One has to admire her courage. since the gay, lesbian and bisexual lobby embraced transfascism they have been taken over by whinging carping mental cases who think their path to happiness lies through having their genitals mulitated, and then whn they find people treat them like freaks, enlist the support of university brainwashed snowflakes, who are only too glad to be offended on anyone's behalf, to bully honest campaigners like Martina Navartilova into silence.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recently included vaccine skeptics – people who are hesitant to vaccinate themselves or their children because they are concerned about the potential health risks – on their annual list of “global health threats,” along with serious dangers like superbugs, climate change, the Ebola virus, HIV and air pollution. The WHO claims that “vaccine hesitancy” increases the risk of a resurgence in diseases they claim are fully preventable through vaccination.

The WHO is by no means alone in its position. Many governments, medical professionals and members of the mainstream media have attacked anti-vaxxers – as they are known – claiming that they are selfish people who put the health of the greater majority at risk. These pro-vaccine groups and individuals like to infer that to question vaccines is both unscientific and dangerous.

In recent years, however, a growing number of highly respected scientists and doctors have started questioning mainstream vaccine propaganda as the results of their own, unbiased studies raise alarming questions about the long-term safety of vaccines. These issues particularly relate to the volume of vaccinations administered to small children and the adjuvants and ingredients used in the manufacture of these vaccines. The latest such study was recently published in the journal Pharmacological Research, warning that many, many people are at increased risk of developing autoimmune diseases after receiving vaccinations.

Autoimmunology is the study of how the body’s own defense system sometimes turns against itself, resulting in the development of diseases like multiple sclerosis, arthritis, Guillain-Barre syndrome and others.

One of the causes of this immune system malfunction is vaccination. As the authors note in the study abstract:
Vaccinations have been used as an essential tool in the fight against infectious diseases, and succeeded in improving public health. However, adverse effects, including autoimmune conditions may occur following vaccinations (autoimmune/inflammatory syndrome induced by adjuvants–ASIA syndrome). It has been postulated that autoimmunity could be triggered or enhanced by the vaccine immunogen contents, as well as by adjuvants, which are used to increase the immune reaction to the immunogen.

The research team defined those who are at increased risk of such autoimmune conditions developing after vaccination as follows:
[W]e defined four groups of individuals who might be susceptible to develop vaccination-induced ASIA: patients with prior post-vaccination autoimmune phenomena, patients with a medical history of autoimmunity, patients with a history of allergic reactions, and individuals who are prone to develop autoimmunity (having a family history of autoimmune diseases; asymptomatic carriers of autoantibodies; carrying certain genetic profiles, etc.).

The study’s authors went at pains to stress that these potential groups of individuals represent only a small percentage of the population and that vaccines are generally safe. However, as noted by McGovern, this is simply not true because of the sheer volume of people who fall into one or more of these categories, including:

• Anyone who has a preexisting autoimmune condition;
• People who have had previous reactions to vaccines (which doctors almost always overlook);
• Patients with a history of allergic reactions, particularly to eggs (something which nurses and others who administer vaccines hardly ever check with vaccine recipients); and
• People prone to developing autoimmunity. This is where it gets really interesting, because this would include smokers (about 18 percent of all Americans), people with high estrogen levels (anyone on the contraceptive pill or hormone replacement therapy), and people with low vitamin D levels (studies indicate that three quarters of all American teens and adults are vitamin D deficient).

FI focuses on equality, diversity, antiracism and environmental issues, arguing that society's power structures need to change.

"We need to have people who have not only the knowledge but also the experience of being in those bodies that usually are discussed," said Gita Nabavi, who was elected to lead the party together with Farida al-Abani on Sunday, "like being a woman in the room when women's salaries are being discussed, or being a transgender person in the room when we're discussing health issues or health care for transgender people."

These attention seeking virtue signaller haven't heard then that real feminists despise the Transgender gang and only political activists masquerading as feminist to advance a far left agenda regard surgically created facsimilies of women as worth of feminist support?

Perhaps a party like FI could only have emerged in a place as conscious of issues of equality and with a male population as emasculated by politically correct indoctrination as Sweden. The country is known for its strong social security net, including policies that allow both mothers and fathers 480 days of paid leave to care for their children. Many view the country as a role model when it comes to gender equality, a label the government underlined in 2014 when it announced it was pursuing a feminist foreign policy to promote human rights for girls and women globally. Discrimination based on sexual orientation was banned in 2011.

On the other hand these liberal - progressive policies have brought Sweden to the brink of collapsing into a dystopian failed state.

We predicted lasat year when the socialist leader Pedto Sancjez usurped the Spanish government after the collapse of the minority government led by Mariano Rajoy collapsed, could not last. In a widely expected but destabilizing development, Spanish conservatives and pro-independence Catalonians voted to back a slate of amendments to a government budget on Wednesday by a wide margin of 191 votes out of 350, defeating the finnce bill. This is equivalent to a vote of no cofidence, setting the stage for new elections.

If as is likely, elections go ahead it would be Spain's third general election in less than four years, the previous three having failed to produce a coalition capable of holding a majority in the national assembly. Following the vote that led to the formation Rajoy's failed governmemt produced such an intractible outcome the King had to order the defeated government to continue in office, which they did until defeated in a confidence vote. Reluctance to hold another election led to the creation of left wing loony Sanchez's fragile socialist-led minority government last year. Bloomberg reported that Sanchez might wait until his cabinet meeting on Friday to call for the elections, which would most likely be set for April 28, according to local media reports.

Sanchez relied on support from Basque and Catalan nationalists to seize power from Mariano Rajoy's conservatives in a no-confidence vote last year, the Guardian reported, but those separatist, regional parties tend to social conservatinsm (both are Eurosceptic,) and were not likely to support the socialist legislation Sanchez put forward.

Sanchez only has 84 socialist lawmakers in the chamber, making passing any legislation a challenge. And with leaders of the Catalonian separatist movement going on trial this week in Madrid, Catalonian lawmakers are hesitant to be seen backing the government. In a sign that the unique form of gridlock ushered in by the Catalonian separatist movement might not be broken any time soon, the socialists are leading in the polls. But with the Catalonians opposing everything and everyone, it's unlikely that the largest party will be able to claim the majority needed to pass legislation.

Though his party is still leading in the polls, the most likely outcome for Sanchez is defeat, according to BBG. In that case a coalition of center-right parties could form a government if they are prepared to do a deal with the separatists. While the socialists are ahead in opinion polls, which show them on around 30% of voting intentions, but the two main right-leaning parties together poll at more than 30% while the Eurosceptic party Podemos, currently with 67 seats in the assembly are the jokers in the pack.

If you haven't heard of Big Data you either haven't been living on this planet or you're an ostrich and bury your head in the sand. Bid data when coupled with Artificial Intelligence can, we are told, tell us how busy the shops are long before the accountants had added up the months takings, how much metal the big warehouses are hoarding or whether office space is in high demand in a particular area.

All of this information can be obtained from just one analytics firm, which gathers information from a multitude of sources, some far more creepy than the almost total sureveillance of our online activity, for example a fleet of drones, planes and satellites that constantly photograph business premises, car parks, places of entertainment. While those deal in general information you, as an individual can be tracked via your smartphone either walking around on public transport or in your car it it is a fairly recent model with factory fitted GPS.

A company named RS Metrics sells investors data based on obsessively photographing parking lots and storage facilities from thousands of feet in the air. At regular intervals, it flies over the target areas taking digital photographs. Based simply on the flow of traffic in and out of mall car parks, business parks or logistics centres, the company claims it can generate estimates of sales, hiring, production or inventories weeks before the official numbers come out. To make such clams based on number of cars in the car park or people milling around pedestrian areas seems rather ambition, but businesses are buying it. We can only wonder if the people who buy information from RS Metrics to give them competitive advantage over their rivals ever pause to ask themselves what information RS Metrics might be selling to rivals about their customers.

Everything we do, everything we browse and everywhere we go is now recordable. The problem is no longer that it is hard to find out something. The problem is parsing the important from the irrelevant. The uncritical view of Big Tech fanboys is that big data heralds the start of a revolution that will change the way we live and work even more radically than previous Industrial Revolutions have. But human beings are not machines, we are not predictable, therefore the more data you have the more difficult it is to draw meaningful conclusions from that data.

Managing the torrents of available data has become a vital task for maintaing a company's profitability, so much so that it has spawned a new profession, Data Scientists, thoigh nobody seems able to define what a data scientist is. Even with that uncrtainly attached to it, data science is said to be driving a new era of economic efficiency. RS Metrics might claim in their sales pitch that developing or buying in the right algorithm can help investors predict movements the stock and commodity exchanges, companies develop and market the right product and social media sites develop addictive techniques to hold our attention.

Are we prepared for this high tech era in which machines make so many decisions for us? Recent privacy scandals and the public outrage over suicide and self-harm images published by groups hosted on Instagram and Facebook show us blind algorithmic “efficiency” can generate undesirable and sometimes downright dangerous results. Once a website has 'learned' what we 'like', it's software will tweak our profile to give us more of it.

I recall an instance a few years ago when I search using a term on the lines of Hollywood movie star and American stage actress and the name Tallulah Bankhead. For the next few days links to videos billed as " Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston head action," or "see movie star Cameron Diaz give head," proliferated in the results from my searches. I did not check out any of those results, they were obviously fake, but that exemplifies the stupidity of Artificial Intelligence. Not many well ranked results on Tallulah Bankhead but hey, the words Hollywood, star and head appear in his search terms ...

Instagram, and their parent Facebook might now be trying to tackle the particular issue of self harm, while governments are trying to pressure all search operators to act to suppress 'hate speech' and 'fake news' (both of which terms cannot be legally defined,) but the general trend of using Big Data and Artificial Intelligence to make stupid decisions is, with the wind of media hype behind it, only going to accelerate.

Reports from Rome reveal the Eurosceptic coalition governing Italy is seeking “closest possible ties” with the UK and is ready to threaten the unity of the European Union by making a bilateral deal with The U.K. to protect its citizens and busineses by enabling interference - free business links with Britain.

Italy's committment to maintaining free trade links wirh Britain in the event of a 'no deal' Brexit flies in the face of an appeal by Brussels to EU member states not to undermine its negotiating position on Brexit by seeking bilateral agreements between EU member states and the UK, The Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Denmark have also expressed concerns at the effect on their economies from losing a market of over sixty million people. Meanwhile non EU nations, freed from EU bureaucracy are queueing to do business with Braitain.

As Brexit day draws near, the eurosceptic Lega-Five Star Movement coalition is growing increasingly worried about the consequences a no deal scenario could have on Italy’s fragile economy. They are not the only EU member to fear that attempts by Brussels to 'punish' the UK for leaving will hurt member states more than Britain This pushed the populist government sitting in Rome to draw up emergency plans to safeguard financial stability and save trade with London from disruption in case of a no-deal Brexit.

It's always entertaining when lefties forget they are supposed to believe in equality, tolerance and diversity and show what nasty little snobs they really are. BBC political magazine show Panorama’s John Sweeney, who likes to parade his 'right on' socialism in public, is reported to have been caught referring to working-class men as being like “cannibals from Amazonia” in an undercover video released by one of the left's favourite hate figures, former EDL leader Tommy Robinson. What makes Robinson a prime target for left wing bigots is of course that he was born into their caste.

Robinson, real name julian Yaxley - Lennon come from a middle clas family but when the father abandoned them, Robinson's mother fell into poverty and ended up living in social housing in a town with one of the biggest Muslim ghettos in Britain, Luton.

The video in which Sweeny is said to have launched into the appallingly prejudiced attack on the working class was posted to Robinson’s social media accounts on both Facebook and Instagram over the weekend and shows the former English Defence League leader confronting Sweeney over his comments. Sweeney seems to describe meeting a working-class white man named Danny in a BBC green room saying, “it was unusual to meet a white working class male in the Newsnight green room.”

Well at least that is probably true, working class voices don't get much airtime from the BBC, instead of giving them a voice the "Ministry Of Truth" hires 'experts' who have never done an honest day's work in their lives to pontificate about the ignorance, racism, homophobia etc. etc. that are qualities of all white, working class British males.

Robinson has also published live streams on Facebook claiming he has more undercover footage of both Sweeney and of people involved with far-left activist organisation HOPE not Hate who are claimed to have sat in on interviews filmed for the Panorama documentary on Robinson apparently labelled with the working title “Tommy Takedown.”

The free speech activist says the full footage will be compiled into a documentary and shown in Manchester on February 23rd outside of the BBC’s offices in the city. He has also promised (threatened?) that he will post further footage from the documentary every 72 hours, starting on Tuesday evening.

So far, neither Sweeney, the BBC, nor HOPE Not Hate have commented on Robinson’s released footage or claims of further revelations, although HOPE not HATE senior researcher Joe Mulhall briefly locked his Twitter account following the release of the footage.

In the UK's latest and probably looniest to date example of politically correct fascism, British police arrested a mother in the presence of her children. Her Crime? She committed the heinous offence of calling a male top female transexual a man on Twitter. A judge subsequently issuing an injunction banning her from referring to the “former male identity”.

38-year-old Kate Scottow, of Hitchin, Hertfordshire, told reporters she was “arrested in my home by three officers, with my autistic ten-year-old daughter and breastfed 20-month-old son present” in comments posted to the Mumsnet online forum, according to the Mail on Sunday.

“I was then detained for seven hours in a cell with no sanitary products (which I said I needed) before being interviewed then later released under investigation… I was arrested for harassment and malicious communications because I called someone out and misgendered them on Twitter.”

The Mail on Sunday say Hertfordshire Police have confirmed the arrest, telling the newspaper: “We take all reports of malicious communication seriously.”

Specifically, Ms Scottow is said to have been arrested for “deadnaming” trans activist Stephanie Hayden, who because we cannot use his birth name will for the rest of this aritcle be known as Tony The Tranny Terrorist, during an argument over whether trans people should be able to legally change gender through a simple self-identification process with little or no medical oversight.

The EU's largest nation and most powerful economy, which righteously lecturing other EU member states on the need to take refugees and asylum seekers, is taking in fewer and fewer Yazidi refugees, according to a German newspaper report.

The religious minority was terrorized by the "Islamic State" during the militant group's campaign in Iraq and Syria and hundreds, possibly thousands of Yazidi women were raped and used as sex slaves by IsIS terrorists. Because Yazidi beliefs, women who have been 'defiled' by non - Yazidi men are no longer marriagable, or if married will be rejected by their husbands, thus the mass rapes were in fact a genocode weapon.

Germany approved about 60 percent of asylum applications from the Yazidi minority of Syrian and Iraq in 2018, the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung newspaper reported on Saturday (9 February,). At roughly 5,300 refugees the figure represents a significant drop from the previous year, when 85 percent of Yazidi asylum-seekers, most of them from Iraq, made successful claims. Some years ago we created an award rating for government and corporate control freakery schemes involving misinformation, censorship or the promotion of fake narratives. We called the awards The Golden Orwells. The awards were given to any story of government, corporate or mainstream media suppression or distortion of truth that reached nine (the highest score,) on our Orwell-Huxley-Dick dystopianometer (OHD) scale, named in honour of the three twentieth century prophets of social decay and the rise of fascistic authoritarianism. After about a year we had to stop handing out Golden Orwells, there were just too many nominees for our judges to evaluate.

But now we have a story that has scored an unprecedented nine Golden Orwells on the OHD scale on the firstr day after it broke.

Though we were forwarned to some extent, the EU has now launched a comprehensive Action Plan against Disinformation. Based on the paranoid rantings of the French Boy President Emmanuwl Macron, the plan's purpose, according to a EU Commission press release, is apparently to "protect its democratic systems and public debates and in view of the 2019 European elections as well as a number of national and local elections that will be held in Member States by 2020". And M. Macron, with the backing of the European Union's ruling bureaucrats, intends to spread the authoritarian EU's propaganda the incontrovertible truths that there is no dissatisfaction with EU policy except in Britain and Italy, the people of Europe (except for the xenophobes of Britain and the Islamophobes of Italy and Hungary, are wildly enthusiastic about the idea of being butched and replaced by migrants from Africa and the middle east, that Muslim communities have not set up any no go zones for police, emergency services or Europeans in any European cities, that the Gilets Jaunes protests in France that have disrupted national life over the past twelve weeks are the work of a handful of left wing extremists and a new die hard neo - Nazis, and that EU cituzens are eager for their proud ancient nations to be subsumed in a Federal European Superstate called Greater Germany.

Back in June last year leaders of EU member states met in the European Council and invited the European Commission "to present... an action plan by December 2018 with specific proposals for a coordinated EU response to the challenge of disinformation (aka 'fake news'...." ironic really as the EU has for decades been one of the world's biggest generators of fake news. It is this action plan that the Commission presented to the public on December 5.

The Action Plan focuses on four areas:

1. Improved detection of disinformation (the European Commission dedicated 5 million euros toward this project and seemingly expects Member states to contribute on a national level, as well).
2. Coordinated Response -- the EU institutions and Member States will set up a Rapid Alert System "to facilitate the sharing of data and assessments of disinformation campaigns". The Rapid Alert System will be set up by March 2019 and "will be complemented by further strengthening relevant resources".
3. Online platforms and industry are called on to ensure "transparency of political advertising, stepping up efforts to close active fake accounts, labelling non-human interactions (messages spread automatically by 'bots') and cooperating with fact-checkers and academic researchers to detect disinformation campaigns and make fact-checked content more visible and widespread" in accordance with a previously signed Code of Practice against Disinformation.
4. Raising awareness and empowering citizens: In addition to "targeted awareness campaigns", the "EU institutions and Member States will promote media literacy through dedicated programmes. Support will be provided to national multidisciplinary teams of independent fact-checkers and researchers to detect and expose disinformation campaigns across social networks". In 2018, citizens are suddenly no longer "media literate" and need to be "empowered" in order to be told how and what to think.

The Action Plan is constructed on the previously introduced, Code of Practice on Disinformation, which the online tech giants -- Facebook, Google, Twitter and Mozilla -- signed in October 2018. The Code of Practice is needed, because, according to EU Commissioner for the Security Union Sir Julian King:

"The weaponisation of on-line fake news and disinformation poses a serious security threat to our societies. The subversion of trusted channels to peddle pernicious and divisive content requires a clear-eyed response based on increased transparency, traceability and accountability. Internet platforms have a vital role to play in countering the abuse of their infrastructure by hostile actors and in keeping their users, and society, safe."

Or to put it in plain english, "Those fucking Russian collaborators at Russia Today keep telling the truth about Europe.

In September, Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Mariya Gabriel said of the Code of Practice:

"This is the first time that the industry has agreed on a set of self-regulatory standards to fight disinformation worldwide, on a voluntary basis. The industry is committing to a wide range of actions, from transparency in political advertising to the closure of fake accounts and demonetisation of purveyors of disinformation, and we welcome this. These actions should contribute to a fast and measurable reduction of online disinformation. To this end, the Commission will pay particular attention to its effective implementation.

"The Code of Practice should contribute to a transparent, fair and trustworthy online campaign ahead of the European elections in spring 2019, while fully respecting Europe's fundamental principles of freedom of expression, a free press and pluralism."

Really? Is there any evidence for this other than unverifiable stories generated by the propaganda agencies of pro - federalisation EU member states. And they call me and my friends 'conspiracy theorists'.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini stated:

"It's our duty to protect this space and not allow anybody to spread disinformation that fuels hatred, division, and mistrust in democracy."

The problem is that this laudable initiative comes from an organization that has a track record decades long for censoring information and opinion in Europe, thereby making it difficult to take these stated intentions at face value. This is, after all, the European Commission that in May 2016 agreed with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Microsoft, on a "Code of Conduct on countering illegal online hate speech online" (Google+ and Instagram also joined the Code of Conduct in January 2018).

The Code of Conduct commits the social media companies to review and remove, within 24 hours, "illegal hate speech". According to the Code of Conduct, when companies receive a request to remove content, they must "assess the request against their rules and community guidelines and, where applicable, national laws on combating racism and xenophobia..." Or, to cut out the diplomatic doublespeak again, the social media giants, all of which have unashamedly displayed the far left political bias usually associated with the brain - fried hippys of Silicon Valley, agree to act as voluntary adjudicators of suspect content posted on their platforms on behalf of the European Union.

In addition to the Code of Conduct, the EU is running several initiatives aimed at increasing censorship. Recently, for example, the EU requested research proposals on programmes "to monitor, prevent and counter hate speech online" even though no clear legal definition of what constitutes 'hate speech' exists. The current situation sems to be if a Christian, Jew, Pagan, atheist or 'other' says, "Well I think some aspects of Islam are not very nice," it is hate speech, while if an Muslim extremist cleric preaches from his pulpit, "Soldiers of Allah must kill event infidel," that is perfectly acceptable because multiculturalism and diversity.

The EU Commission also sponsors projects that "guide" journalists on what to write: The EU's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (REC) has financed the publication of a handbook with guidelines for journalists on how to write about migrants and migration. The guidelines form part of the RESPECT WORDS project -- also financed by the EU -- which "aims to promote quality reporting on migrants and ethnic and religious minorities as an indispensable tool in the fight against hate".

The handbook guidelines state, among other things, that journalists should:

"Take care not to further stigmatise terms such as 'Muslim' or 'Islam' by associating them with particular acts... Don't allow extremists' claims about acting 'in the name of Islam' to stand unchallenged. Highlight... the diversity of Muslim communities... where it is necessary and newsworthy to report hateful comments against Muslims, mediate the information. Challenge any false premises on which such comments rely".

And, as the EU's efforts to 'punish' the UK for choosing to leave the organisation obsesses all broadcast and print media, let us remind ourselves the European Commission recently expressed its strong disapproval of Austria's decision to pull out of the UN's "Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration." The Compact stipulates that media outlets that do not support the UN's migration agenda will not be eligible for public funding,has taken that on board as policy. and the EU How does that square with "fully respecting Europe's fundamental principles of freedom of expression, a free press and pluralism"?

What Europe should expect, as this Nazi style assault on truth, free speech and free access to information Action Plan against Disinformation is rolled out, is, in fact -- more censorship, more authoritarianism, more propaganda and less freedom.

Hot on the tail of Fake News, we now have fiat news, which is nothing to do with an Italian car maker whose name is an acronym for Fix It Again Tony. This new type of unrelibable news is news which broadly cheapens the credibility of media by presenting opinion as fact. It debases information in the same way that a capricious tyranT might debase a currency in order to enrich his family and cronies. It tells you how to think.

There is a certain type of fiat news, however, which is more pernicious, than the stuff which is simply made up or is such an outrageous distortion of a true story that it should be denounced where it rears its head. It seeks, like all fake news, to present misleading information, offer opinions as documented fact and manipulate public opinion. This type of news also elects itself as arbiter of what should and should not be believed, regardless of the veracity of the story, it claims responsibility for determining the accuracy of the statements made and events reported by others.

A valuable public service you may think. But in the hands of people whose only goal is to advance one political agenda and discredit another, who wish to tell us what to think and how to think about a topic and not just inform us of the facts, and when it is widely known to be dedicated to advancing a political agenda, it can only debase confidence in information and news than any other kind of media activity. Thus we urge you to take anything you read under the banner of fact check journalism

Sure, there are examples of Fact Check Journalism doing good. And then there’s the NPR Fact Check of the 2019 State of the Union Address.

Put aside your liking for or dislike of President Trump Ignore whether you agreed or disagreed with the sentiments expressed. Read it and ask yourself: Is this really a fact check? Or is the writer trying to shape readers opinions of the speech by presenting his or her opinions as a fact check? As it happens, I think you’ll find that there are actual fact checks in the article, mostly in the well-researched responses to the immigration and border wall questions, other responses to foreign policy and national security questions, and in many of Jim Zarroli’s checks on economic statements.

But with those exceptions, NPR’s Fact Check is an analysis, commentary and opinion piece. There’s nothing wrong with that on its own. That’s an important role of the press. But publishing a piece like this as a ‘fact check’ is not just fiat news. It is fraud, a fraud of the kind that will kill confidence in the media stone dead unless others of influence recognize it and disavow it.

This ‘Fact Check’ is of a kind you might call the Benchmark Switch. It isn’t a fact check so much of a statement against reality, but against what the author believes should have been said. The intention of this kind of fact check is to establish common knowledge about what is conventional and acceptable, to frame your interpretation of the remainder of the speech. We are to begin by understanding that the speaker being evaluated is beginning his speech well outside the norm. Definitional, textbook fiat news. The fact that the three previous Presidents did something Trump chose not to is irrelevant, there is no law and no ethical requirement to congratulate his opponents. His choice may or may not have been simply bad manners. That is a matter of opinion.

This ‘Fact Check’ has a bogof (buy one get one free,) – Anecdotal Rebuttals and Emotionally Curated language. The author has elected to fact check an expressed desire. Although it is difficult to know in any absolute way if someone really wants to ‘binds wounds of division’, it is reasonable enough to assess whether their actions line up with that expressed desire. Yet the author simply lists a couple of examples and plays to the crowd with a ‘reading lines from a teleprompter’ bit. This isn’t fact-checking. This is an opinion the author wished to express, and found a ‘fact check’ to use as scaffolding for that opinion.

This starts with a fact check, but then transitions into Necessary Context, the selective provision of additional facts to tell you the context in which the original fact should be interpreted. The author doesn’t trust us to know whether in our own opinion the economy has been doing well. We need to be informed of his authoritative opinion about whether it has been influenced by certain policies, and he also wants you to know that he and ‘forecasters’ (a.k.a 'sources') believe that it won’t be sustained, which is a fact check on…oh, nothing really. We just thought you should know, because (reasons).

This one starts out looking like a fact check, but ends up offering the reader a lovely combination of Benchmark Switching and Necessary Context. The author wishes the speaker had compared unemployment levels between two demographics, and fact checks against what she wishes had been said. She then wants to make sure that you know how to think about this data in context of the president’s achievements, even though no such claim about responsibility had been made.

By no stretch of the imagination can any of this be called fact checking. It is opinion making, and it is typical of the university brainwashed millennials who populate the media these days. They spent thireen years being indoctrinated in school and maybe another four or five inhigher educations and during that process have been stripped of the ability to think for themselves. Worse, they have been told "You are so much better than those uneducated oiks out there, it is your job to lead them in the paths of righteousness. And the pathetic specimens really believe they are smarter than the average guy because they spent more time in education?

In his novel "Dodger," Terry PratcheTT describes the eponymous character thus: Some people spend years in school being educated, Dodger had spent years in the streets learning stuff. There's a big difference.

Or as Frank Zappa put it: "If you want to get laid, go to college. If you want an education go to the library.

Or as Brian, in Monty Python's Life Of Brian tells the multitude: "Don't let anyone tell you what to think, think it through for yourselves.

One of today's more amusing news items revealed Google paid more in European fines than in taxes on their corporate profits, according to the firm's fourth-quarter earnings report.

Holding company Alphabet of which Google is a subsidiary, reported Q4 revenues for the search engine operator of 39.28 billion, up 22%, while revenues for the year were up 23% to $136.8 billion. Taxes in Q4 were $4.2 billion.

A record €4.3 billion ($5 billion) fine imposed by the European Union competition commisioner on the tech giant for allegedly anti-competitive practices related to Google's Android operating system, took their total fines from various malpractice cases for the year higher than the income taxes of $4.2 billion paid, according to Computing magazine

The company also separated out "European Commission fines" in its consolidated statements of income in the company's accounts which suggests it feels the fines for breaking EU fair trade law are unjust. These increased from $2.7bn in 2017 to $5.1bn in 2018, with a further €50m already set to be added to the bill for its first quarter and 2019 accounts, due to a penalty imposed by the French data protection authority CNIL.

That compares to a provision for income taxes of just $4.2 billion for 2018, or 12 per cent of its pre-tax income.Computing Net income in 2018 rose by 143% from $12.67 billion to $30.74 billion thanks to the US Tax Act of 2017, which depressed net income that year, which had "resulted in additional tax expense of $9.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017, primarily due to the one-time transition tax on accumulated foreign subsidiary earnings and deferred tax effects," according to the earnings release.

From Google's actions it is clear Alphabet continues to behave as if it is above the law and we can only hope President Trump manages to realise his campaign promise to break up monopolisitic internet giants like Google, Facebook and Amazon the actions of which have wreaked far more harm on society than any benefit they claim to have delivered..

Though he is despised in his own country for the way he sold out to the EU, former Polish leader Donald Tusk, now EU Council President, released an astounding attack on Theresa May as she toured Northern Ireland. His comments were condemned by the unionist DUP party, which wants to nix the only thing the EU and UK agree on.

Euronazi collaborator Tusk held nothing back on Wednesday when commenting on Brexit. Tusk tweeted: "I've been wondering what that special place in hell looks like, for those who promoted #Brexit, without even a sketch of a plan how to carry it out safely."

The president's tweet was immediately criticized by Brexit supporters, such as Nigel Farage, who called Tusk and his colleagues "arrogant bullies," without addressing the criticism that Brexit campaigners put forward as an option without a concrete plan to implement it.

British Prime Minister Theresa May took a slightly more subdued, but no less critical tack, saying "it's a question for Donald Tusk as to whether he considers the use of that kind of language helpful."

Tusk is one of the leading Europhiles and since he was booted out of office in Poland has become a prominent voice in the integrationist movement, pushing for all EU member states to surrender their sovereignty to Brussels and become a single federal superstate called Greater Germany. Thos brave Poles who gave their lives resisting the Nazis tirn in their graves every time the collaborating shit speaks.

Tusk's idiotic bluster came when he spoke alongside Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar in Brussels, where the two claimed that the EU's top concern is to avoid a hard Irish border after Brexit, considering the decades of violence and bloodshed that was only resolved by the 1998 Good Friday agreement. In fact, as the woofter Varadker has averred once during a rare few moments when he did not have another EU leader's cock in his mouth, the top concern for him and his EU allies has been to try and reunify Ireland by stealth.

"The top priority for us, remains the issue of the border on the island of Ireland, and the guarantee to maintain the peace process in accordance with the Good Friday Agreement. There is no room for speculation here. The EU itself is first and foremost a peace project. We will not gamble with peace; or put a sell-by date on reconciliation," Tusk said in a statement. And of course as far as the IRA are concerned there will only be permanent peace when Ireland is reunited. The twenty years since the Good Friday Agreement have just been a suspension of hostilities.

The UK has also maintained that avoiding a hard border in Ireland is a major priority, lending popularity to the now-ubiquitous term "backstop," to describe a measure put in place to protect the status quo in Ireland even if no deal is reached between British parliament and the EU.

Atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) is good; it is plant food. Most of it comes from natural cycles, and before the industrial age it was headed to dangerously low levels in the atmosphere(240 parts per million - at 200 ppm everything dies,). Without sufficient levels of atmospheric CO2 plants die, and then so would all animals who depend on them as food. And then the animals that depend on animals that depend on plants for food, for food. It was perhaps fortunate that mankind figured out how to liberate large amounts of CO2 that was stored in the ground as coal, oil and natural gas. On the other hand nature has a wonderful way of balancing things and maybe, just maybe the system would have thrown itself into reverse with CO2 levels rising to several thousand parts per million as they have in the past according to paleo - ecoologists, (ironically CO2 sometimes reached those dizzy levels during past ice ages although in other prolonged periods of intense cold it fell, which ought to suggest even to the thikest scientists that CO2 levels have little effect on mean temeratures.

As far as CO2 in the atmosphere being the driver of temperature goes, the actual science (as opposed to the computer modelling,) shows that it has a negligible effect at best. The primary greenhouse gas, water vapour moderates any CO2 effect by raining out, so that the overall greenhouse effect is stable; this is the saturation effect which limits the amount of greenhouse gas the atmosphere can hold. Furthermore, the ice core data shows that CO2 is the effect and temperature is the cause when it comes to the relationship between atmospheric CO"2 and temperature. What drives the ice ages with intervening inter-glacial warming periods (like today's warming) are the Milankovitch cycles related to changes in the eccentricity of the earths orbit, changes in its axial tilt, and the precessional cycle. Shorter term variations in temperature are related to a multitude of cycles in solar activity.

Just like socialism/communism, global warming is a government run plunder and control scam, which means this political bimbo is doubly self identifying as a scam artist. A court in Sicily has allowed proceedings against Italian Eurosceptic Interior Minister, leader of The League and all-around pain-in-the-arse for The Davos Crowd, Matteo Salvini. In what must be one of the most ludicrous EU efforts to silence nationalist leaders ahead of elections to the European Parliament in May this year, judges ruled Salvini should stand trial for the Brussels sponsored charge of kidnapping migrants held on boats operated by pro = globalisation NGOs off Italy’s shores.

“I confess,” Salvini told followers in a Facebook video, “there is no need for a trial. It’s true, I did it and I’d do it again.I risk 3 to 15 years in prison for blocking illegal landings in Italy. I have no words to defend against the charge,” wrote Salvini, the leader of the ultra-nationalist Lega (League) party, which now governs Italy in coalition with the more left leaning but equyally anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S).

If this latest move to silence opponents wasn’t so stupid it would be comical. But it has happened and is an attack on Salvini and democracy. As Dr. Steve Turley explains in the video below one of the goals of this attack is to drive a wedge between Five Star Movement (M5S) and its coalition partner, The League.

According to independent legal opinion in Italy this looks as if it will go nowhere as M5S leader Luigi DI Maio supported Salvini. But, the real issue isn’t the coalition government. If somehow Di Maio can’t ride herd over his faction with the Italian parliament and they vote to allow this trial to go forward then M5S will continue sinking into obscurity and The League’s rising poll numbers will accelerate.

As Turley points out it is not in M5S’s best interest to betray its partner at this point. They enjoy parliamentary representation well above their current polling.

So, they would jeopardize everything they’ve worked to shape Italian domestic policy.

But that’s not the real issue, which is the case is an attempt by the EU and The Davos Crowd to prevent the integration of the Euroskeptic movement around Europe, of which Salvini has become the de facto leader now that Nigel Farage will leave the European Parliament after Brexit, and head off its challenge the current status quo in the European Parliament.

Salvini called for a “League of Leagues” after his meeting with Hungary’s Viktor Orban. He will succeed. This embarrassingly inept atempt to stop that happening can only help him succeed. This is the guy who successfully rebranded the secessionist Northern League into the MIGA party – Make Italy Great Again.

He and Five Star Movement leader Luigi Di Maio waded through the Italian Swamp to form a government experts said couldn’t work. Thanks to Salvini’s strategic genius Italian politics will never be the same again. His League now polls around 30%, which bodes well for it in next year’s European Parliamentary Elections. Because now his sights are MEGA – Make Europe Great Again.

In fact, this frivolous lawsuit is prima facia evidence that the EU oligarchs in Brussels are officially scared of what’s coming in May’s European Parliamentary elections. If Salvini wasn’t a threat they wouldn’t be going after him this way.
