Too Many People

With every indication that the breakdown in society and no indications that politicians, police forces or any authority has a clue how to deal with it we propose a starting point.

About two years ago I questioned whether it was time to consider overpopulation as part of the climate change problem. This inevitably attracted accusations that I was an advocate of eugenics. My critics did not understand the difference between eugenics and birth control of course but that was expected. The Politically Correct Thought Police and the bleeding heart wing of liberal thinkers are not only not overly burdened with intelligence and despite their claims to be rational humanists are prone to sentimentality. Thus every young thus who kicks an innocent person's head in is not a criminal but a victim of society. And as most of their victims are comfortably off working or lower middle class people trying to live a good life they deserve no sympathy

The type of victims we are discussing here are people like Michael Eccles, a factory worker and father of five, as ordinary a bloke as anyone could be. Michael was knocked to the ground and kicked to death by a 21 year old and a 16 year old for no apparent reason. He was not carrying much money, had walked to a shop near his home and bought a bottle of wine and was on his way home when, according to witnesses, he was attacked for no reason. In some ways his murder was similar to that of another ordinary, quiet family man Gary Newlove. Gary was knocked to the ground and kicked to death outside his home when he approached a gang of youths who were well known in the area for their vandalism and asked them to stop damaging his car.

In another case, somewhat different, Fiona Pilkington, a single mother with a disabled teenage girl and a son with learning difficulties, after enduring years of bullying and harassment at the hands of a "problem" family on the estate where they lived, finally took her daughter Frankie in their car to a remote parking area, doused the vehicle with petrol, climbed in with her daughter and set fire to it. Though the authorities were aware of Fiona Pilkington's plight for several years. She received no support from social workers and the police ignored her call. The "problem family," the pikeys who were making the lives of Fiona and her family an unendurable misery had lots of support of course. Well they were "victims of society," it was not their fault they did not work and had drink and drug problems, were unable to exercise self control.

It is people like these society does not need. And to eliminate them we have to rebuild our dysfuncional society from the ground up, from strong family units through local communities right up to eliminating the corruption and self interest that blights the upper levels of public life

The mindless murder of young Rhys Jones in Liverpool this week has given us a very disturbing insight into gang culture among the young. The stories told by members of The Noggzy’eds and the Crocky’eds, their nihilistic view of life and their perverted loyalties. Evidence presented in so many news reports suggesting this behaviour is not confined to one city but spread over the whole country.

It makes the assurances of middle class bleeding hearts that “there have always been gangs and things are no worse than they ever were except in the eyes of the hysterical media,” seem rather hollow. Things seem to have run completely out of control in the past few weeks, perhaps it is because the school holidays have freed more young people to roam free, looking for “laffs.” That could explain the recent violence. But the problems are not confined to violence. Irresponsibility is at the root of problems relating to drugs, drinking and sexual behaviour.

Not long ago on a daytime TV show I saw two young men, both in their teens, swaggering around bragging about their sexual prowess. Both were still in their teens, one had fathered eight children, the other claimed nine. Neither had kept in touch with the mothers, probably the kindest thing they had done for those girls. Worse though, neither young man saw any reason to change their behaviour, both said they would refuse to use condoms as it was “unmanly” and both felt that fathering a lot of unwanted children “proved they were men.” The attitudes are primitive.

Now my post that set the Politically Correct Thought Police whining was not advocating the use of eugenics, selective breeding, to eliminate the knob - heads. We cannot possibly know which parents are going to produce violent sociopaths as their offspring. There are so many factors involved in the making of a scrote. I was talking about those girls who make a career choice of single parenthood or the young men who run around with their dicks out fathering children indiscriminately and claiming bragging rights without ever once considering taking any responsibility for the children they help bring into the world

Every human life consumes resources that are becoming more scarce as the global population increases of course and the idea that we should impose birth control on those who refuse to practice it voluntarily or behave responsibly is catching on. Here's an article from Huffungton Post that explores the same question. Are there just too many people - Huffington Post

If nothing else that sows I am not the only liberal who is prepared to face up to the fact that one of the great causes of environmental and social deterioration is that their are just too many people. We have to reverse population growth. Not eugenics but simple common sense. If people show they are not prepared to reproduce responsibly and to see through the task of bringing up their children they must be stopped from reproducing. The worst offender in terms of encouraging irresponsible reproduction are the great religions. Children are a blessing, they preach. Children are not a blessing for the poor. To bring a child into the world when the parents cannot afford to feed and care for it properly is a crime, a crime for which the innocent child will be punished. Even if we abolish religion now, it will take a generation for education to do change attitudes so drastic action is needed now.

It does not matter how many examinations pupils can be coached to pass, if the system is not teaching young people how to behave it has failed abysmally. Real education does not begin until after we leave school. Schools should give us the basics, literacy and numeracy and it should at best teach people to think rationally and instil curiosity and hunger for knowledge. With that knowledge most of us can go out and learn to be members of society. At the moment we are not equipping people to learn to be members of their society. They are learning that materialism, greed and the instant gratification of impulses are the things that matter rather than self respect, restraint and consideration for others.

What is going on may seem like The End Of Civilisation As We Know It but we can get things back on track quite easily. Firstly, the world has TOO MANY ARSEHOLES. These people, mostly members of the nationwide ubergang, The Needaspikethroughtheir'eads gang must be controlled.

Most important, we need to stop them breeding. In the 1960s or 70s Indira Gandhi’s government in India offered men transistor radios in return for having a vasectomy. Only they did not explain what a vasectomy was. We could try something like that to stop the arseholes from breeding. Offer them an X-box or a few rocks of meth perhaps? The cost benefit to society is enormous when we consider the cost of providing care for a few dozen abandoned children for eighteen years.

Second, young people who have never been subjected to proper discipline but only punished for disturbing parents who were sleeping off a booze or drugs binge should be taught that actions have consequences. Kill somebody and you spend the rest of your life doing hard labour in unpleasant conditions. Terrorise someone and we send you to work as a street cleaner in Baghdad or somewhere. It does not take much imagination to make the punishment fit the crime.

Thirdly, and more controversially, there has to be a concerted effort to rebuild communities. Reverse every law Margaret Thatcher’s government ever passed. Build social housing, invest in railways and bus systems, deprivatise everything that was stolen from public ownership and sold for pennies to Thatcher’s and Blair’s cronies.

In Britain our biggest problem has always been the division of society on lines of class. No human being is of less worth than another because of where they were born or how they speak, or what educational qualifications they have. Personal wealth does not make somebody more worthy of respect or bestow privilege on them.

If we attack the problem at both ends, show people who wish to be anti – social that society can be nastier on a bigger scale than individuals ever can and start to repair the damaged caused by the warped political thinking of people whose ambitions outweighed their abilities, we can change course.

We have to become a society again.

And I'm not the only liberal intellectual that thinks so

Labour's Minimum Wage Scam
When you hear of a Conservative politician praising Labour for creating a 'flexible job market' that benefits British employers it does not ring true. What Lord Freud was really praising the government for was letting bosses screw their workers by turning a full time job into a part time job. Not the sort of jobs policy you expect from Labour but we're always said they are more Tory than the Tories.

Authoritarian Box Ticking Culture.
Among the things that have alienated people from the Labour party apart from generakl incompetence, is their arrogant and patronising conviction the public are resady to believe anything the government tells them so long as it is dressed up in statistics and delivered by some fresh faced, smooth talking Labour spinmeister. Teen Binge Drinking Crisis
Politicians, medical experts and church leaders here in Britain are panicking about the binge drinking antics of teenagers. Change You Can't Believe In
by James Dahlberg
For his first contribution to The Daily Stirrer James looks at how the popularity of Barack Obama, the Yes We Can" man has collapsed from the record levels seen right after his inauguration as President to the latest polls that make him the most unpopular president ever after a year in office. The economy, unemployment, the disatrous health reform bill and weakness on foreign polcy have played a big part but how much is due to the failings of man himself.

Massive Overdose Protest
