Is Google unstoppable? Asks this article atWebProNews, citing latest figures issued by google to show their dominance of the web search market. The Washington Consensus Is Dead Another article extolling Obama that bears little relation to reality. Again it's the comment thread that is interesting.

Cool It People - Climate Change
America's Right takes a sceptical look at the latest "only Obama can save the planet" nonsense.

Hillary Speaks Out On Piracy Texas Darlin. While Obama struts around with all the pomp and swagger of an African village tyrant Hillary Clinton once more demontrates the maturity and intelligence that would have made her a much better President from America and the wider world's point of view.

Vaccine HysteriaThe Guardian
Concerns have arisen about the safety of HP?V vaccine following demands for compulsory vaccination in the wake of Jade Good'y death. As usual the science lobby dismiss logical and reasonable questions about the cervical cancer vaccine as hysteria. As usual the politicians fail to understand resistance to the treatment is linked to the element of compulsion. If the government compels parents to have their children vaccinated that alone will arouse suspicions and engender resistance.

Sarkozy: "Eurpoe Not Obama's Plaything"
It has ben amusing to watch the other world leaders walking on eggshells, each not wanting to highlight barack Obama's naivete in world affairs. A betting person would not have had much difficulty in working out that The French were likely to be first to burst Obama's bubble. You're being fleeced in the biggest, weirdest rip off yet.

Painful Memory - Forget It
If you could take a pill to erase a painful or unpleasant memory would you? Of would you wonder what else it might erase. And would you them question the ethics of such a medicine which is being peddled as a refief to the traumatise but has such obvious attractions for people thinking along fascist lines. Could it not also be used to erase memories of reading Marxist or dissident philosophy, of being a member of a radical political group. It seems to point towards a very dangerous highway, one that can only be walked by people wearing Jackboots.

NHS patient records and shared databases
The National Health Service patient records database that will make health recodes of everybody threated by the NHS (or almost everybody in the country) vailable to all government depsartments is an outrage. When considered in context with the above post and other infringements of civil liberties, the surveillance society created by the increasingly authoritarian Labour government, the relentless promotion of unworkable but politically correct ideologies such as multiculturalism and the meek acceptance of the fascistic actions of multinational corporations it is clear we are not just looking down the road to fascism, this wretched government has already dragged us a considerable distance along it.

Climate change - outlook mild
Are the likely consequences of climate change being exaggerated by scientists to back up demands for bigger research grants, more jollies and fatter salaries. The fact is nobody knows how drastically the climate changes currently in progress will affect the world or how far reaching the consequences will stretch. What we do know is scientitst seldom agree on anything, are seldom anywhere near being right and are more interested in inflating their egos that doing anything practical. How many of the megahyped "breakthroughs" of the last thirty years delivered ant benifit to society as a whole. If science has achieved anything recently it is in the field of helping fascistic coprporate interests evade accountability for their irresponsibe and criminal actions.

First Disciple proclaims The Obamessiah Even the normally pro-Obama mainstream media have picked up on this very dangerous trend. One political commentator has criticized Democrats who were comparing Obama to Jesus and Gov. Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate.

We level headed Brits have always suspected Americans are needy and gullible of course, but even by their standards this level of insanity points to a nation in terminal decline. Remember that immortal line from Monty Python's Life Of Brian? "He's not The Messiah, he's a very naughty boy." How prescient does it seem now?

When we take a close look at The Obamessiah's background and the way his campaign has been managed though, the micromanagement of information, the ruthless way those who question Obama or pose some threat to him are dealt with and the way his supporters are driven to mass hysteria and we can see more similarities with Adolf Hitler than Jesus.

16 October 2008
Media hit of the month so far isJoe the plumber It is strange, is it not, hoe though Joe (or Sam as he's really named) was selected at random by barak Obama who was gladhanding people at random while doing a walkabout on the campaign trail.

When Mr. Obama did his routine trivk of trying to get the plumber to kiss The Obama's scrawny arse in sheer gratitude at being so blessed, Sam responded by asking a difficult question. The Obamessiah's Fast Action Response Team leaped into action, throwing up, as is their wont, all sorts of smears about Joe's private life.

What a pity we are not permitted such insights into Mr. Obama's private life, for example why will he not produce a copy of his birth certificate to prove he was born in Hawaii and not Kenya as the overwhelming body of evidence suggests. Why will he not admit that for much of his adult life he presented himself as a Muslim, even stating his religion as Muslim on his enrollment form for Chicago law school, and why he not tell us what exactly his work as a "community organiser" for ACORN involved.

Better still, as this individual wants to be the most powerful man in the world, aren't we entitled to some answers about his association with the genocidist Kenyan politician Ralia Odinga. And what favours does he owe the genocidist government of Indonesia for destroying the evidence of his Indonesian citizenship.

McCain Obama debate election
Differing opinions of the Presidential Candidates debate, the Obama camp rroclaiming him the overwhelming victor because he is the anointed one who can walk on water and whose farts smell of perfume while The Republicans claim Obama waffled, evades issues and took refuge in vague talk of change, dreams, visions and the credibility he thinks can be gained using big words he obviously does not really understand. If McCain is elected America is only in as much trouble as it is in now. If Obama id elected the nation he will lead are fucked up beyond all redemption

What you haven't read about Obama

Which way will Joe Go
Despite the mauling he had from the Obama campaign, Joe the Plumber has not revealed which way his vote will go, insisting he has not yet made up his mind. Strikes me that in common with millions of others we might guess are natural republicans, Joe is playing it close to his chest.
Don't make the mistake of believing the polls, the most interesting statistic to emerge is not being published. That is the unusually high number of people, all registered voters, who are refusing to take part.

White collar prosecutions are likely
Here's a financial blogger worrying about hether some bankers who were involved in bdodgy deals and covering losses to make balance sheets look good might end up in jail. Somehow we don't think there will be a lot of sympathy for them.

Build our way out of depression, Democrats say

Well it worked in the 1930s so it must be the right thing to do now. Somehow, every instinct told me we could rely on Mr Obama and his stupid sidekicks who habitually peddle platitudes and cliches (when they're not making up fairy stories about Obama's past) to come up with a plan that is unoriginal, impractial and totally irrelevant. Ah but that is no problem to Obama's supporters. They know his farts smell of perfume so that makes everything OK. They do have some good ideas in some parts of America, but Nebraska is solid republican country

Banking Crisis - will nationalisation work
After all these years of saying Thatcherism and the free markey lunacy would end in a financial collapse it's nice to be vindicated at last. Margaret Thatcher swore she would never print money to buy our way out of a financial crisis. Unfortunately letting the banks conjure itout of this air created an even less substantial economy than those based on paper money. Magic Money was a clever illusion but in the end it was all done with smoke and mirrors.

Hotdog economics
When the Nobel Prize committee awarded a prize for economics this year they might well have been having a laugh. We have to take the award at face value though and make a comment. If anybody still thinks academic theories and mathematical modelling have any relevance in the real world they are mad as a box of frogs. Like the NuLab thinkers who still talk of having made great strides towards abolishing child poverty when they have dome more than anybosdy to increase parent poverty.

Recycling: is it a waste of time?
its easy to see why Tim Worstall thinks so when we find that recycled products actually use more resources to remanufacture than it would take to make new. We worry that the penalties for not complying with the bureaucratic and authoritarian regulations on recycling can bring down draconian penalites on those who do not conform. The townhall pokenoses have a long track record of eforcing most enthusiastically the most pointless regulations.

The Truth About Brown's boom and bust
Did Gordon Brown engineer the meltdown as a way of relaunching his government and his career. And how did he involve Iceland?

Labour Minister says investors are entitled to their money

but being entitled to it and getting it are two very different things. As the Guardian readers who followed their paper's financial tipster are likely to find out. Guido Fawkes reports on Guardianista Frozen Cash

Inevitably the American election intrudes into our consciousness. David Cameron comes under fire from one of his predecessors as Conservative leader. And iain Duncan Smith shows he has a better understanding of how society works than the boss even if he does lack charisma.

Bill Clinton flirting with Obama
Why is bill Clinton suddenly so enthusiastially supporting the campaign of barak Obama when relations between the two men have previously been decidedly cool? Well we heard rumours there may soon be a vacancy for a Vice Presidential niminee in the Democratic Party.

How Tony Blair can help Sarah Palin
Republican supporters could have made a wise move in pointing out to Palin the way Tony Blair used to deal with William Hague who was a much better performer in face to face question and answer sessions. Palin is no Blair of course, but then biden is even further from being in the same league as William Hague.

More Climate Science Fraud Exposed: Himalyan Glaciers Are Not Melting
The Himalayas has lost no significant ice over the past decade, according to a new study, that found melting ice from glaciers is having a much smaller effect on sea levels than previously thought. Previous studies relied on physical measurements of ice caps and glaciers on the ground. It's ironic that people who have relied on high tech modelling techniques to conceal the reality of what is going on are now exposed (again) as crooks and liars by new high tech methods of measuring glaciers ...

No Jobs For The Masses In The New Economy Despite University Education

One Decent Jobs Report Does Not Make A Recovery
There are two reasons why President Obama rushed to the microphone on Friday shortly after the government’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released relatively good news (by recent standards) that the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3% in January, while the economy added 243,000 seasonally adjusted jobs. ...

Let's Learn From Libya Before We Get Involved In Syria

This time last year the clamour for a military intervention in Libya was gaining ground as forces loyal to Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi threatened to overrun the eastern city of Benghazi ...

India Disses UK Aid: 'More Importasnt To Donors Than Recipients'.
Congratulations to Rahul Bedi for putting into words what we all half-suspected: India neither needs nor wants UK aid. Such grants are outdated and patronising, he says, and encourage corruption. Indeed, Indians have ‘become so contemptuous of Britain’s contribution that they accept it merely to avoid causing the embarrassment’.

London Atheist And Secularist Societies Under Attack From Islamists
I know on occasions in the past I've asked you, dear readers and fellow bloggers to share something widely that needed wider exposure. Unemployment at 8.3% Still Leaves A Vast And Destructive Jobs Deficit Robert Reich, The Guardian
The most significant aspect of January's jobs report is political. The fact that America's labor market continues to improve is good news for the White House. But as a practical matter, the improvement is less significant for the American workforce.
President Obama's only chance for rebutting Republican claims that he's responsible for a bad economy is to point to a positive trend. Voters respond to economic trends as much as ...

Much Media Ado About Nothing What connects seemingly disparate works such as The Silence of the Lambs, Cape Fear, Mad Men, and Seinfeld? It is the philosophy of nihilism, first popularized by Friedrich Nietzsche in the late 19th century. But in the last few decades, how did it become the dominant worldview of Hollywood? Dawn Of The Ice Age Signals The End Of The Global Warming Scam Back then, the media and activists trumpeted the arrival of a new ice age, with the specter of ice sheets and glaciers covering half the northern hemisphere, and brutal winters in the remaining ice-free zones. The fact that the media and popular culture and academia have veered from one panic-inducing disaster scenario to another one which completely contradicts the first one is funny enough in its own right. But reading The Weather Conspiracy: The Coming of the New Ice Age opened my eyes to an even more significant aspect ...
