No Jobs For The Masses In The New Economy Despite University Education
No matter how leaders like David Cameron and Barack Obama try to talk up their economies or assure voters the jobs market is improving, growth returning and unemployment will soon start falling, the truth is change does not equal progress and forcing the pace of social change has only masked the true depth of economic and social problems. One of these is unemployment and particularly joblessness among the young. Even a universdity education does not provide a guaranteed career path ... Education

Unemployment at 8.3% Still Leaves A Vast And Destructive Jobs Deficit Robert Reich, The Guardian
The most significant aspect of January's jobs report is political. The fact that America's labor market continues to improve is good news for the White House. But as a practical matter, the improvement is less significant for the American workforce.

Much Media Ado About Nothing What connects seemingly disparate works such as The Silence of the Lambs, Cape Fear, Mad Men, and Seinfeld? It is the philosophy of nihilism, first popularized by Friedrich Nietzsche in the late 19th century. But in the last few decades, how did it become the dominant worldview of Hollywood? Dawn Of The Ice Age Signals The End Of The Global Warming Scam Back then, the media and activists trumpeted the arrival of a new ice age, with the specter of ice sheets and glaciers covering half the northern hemisphere, and brutal winters in the remaining ice-free zones. The fact that the media and popular culture and academia have veered from one panic-inducing disaster scenario to another one which completely contradicts the first one is funny enough in its own right. But reading The Weather Conspiracy: The Coming of the New Ice Age opened my eyes to an even more significant aspect ...

Our rising debt levels are becoming unsustainable – soon we may be talking about wealth confiscation (By Daniel Knowles, Daily Telegraph)
Debt, debt, debt; we’re drowning in it. This morning, the Office for National Statistics published the latest estimates of public sector borrowing. America Is Starting To Say Obama Should Resign
A really disturbing piece from America on the plan of the Obama administration to intoduce "preventitive detention" for people the authorities don't like but who have done nothing for which they can be put on trial in a court of law. Read about what is going on at: It Is Increasingly Evident That Obama Should Resign

During the 2008 Presidential Campaign Little Nicky Machiavelli commented on Obama's overseas tour to promote his "rock star politics" that the wannabe-in-chief was strutting around the world with the pomp and swagger of an African village tyrant who knew he would soon have a nuclear arsenal at his disposal. Well banging up all opponents and dissident without trial "because they pose a threat to national security" is always one of the first steps taken by African tyrants once they achieve power.

Fortualely Barack Hussein Obama is only President Of The USA, he will never be President Of The World. He just thinks he is.

Imagine - a business run for political motives
by Ed Butt

Imagine. If the government, any government OK, took a major stake in a failing corporation, a major car manufacturer for example, in order to save jobs, prevent the skillbase being eroded and support the economy and the manufacturing centre; And if the government in its infinite wisdom decided many of that major car manufacturers franchised dealers had to be closed, right, this being the government you would not be surprised to hear the people they put in charge of managing the manufacturers assets had decided to close the most profitable dealers, those that were shifting pleny of cars and making plenty of money. This is the government we are talking about after all.

Imagine now if you will, news leaked out that the government had not closed all the wrong dealerships through incompetence, lack of business nous or even because they guy in charge has ten PhDs in advanced science but can't add up simple sums. No, the decisions on which dealerships would close had been made (and we're playing imagine here, OK?) to punish those dealerships that had donated money to opponents of the incumbent government or had simply declined to support the election campaign of the people who won the election. Where could such a thing happen? An African economic basket case state? An East European tyranny? An Arab Theocracy? Or the nation that likes to style itself The World's Greatest Democracy under a President who adopted the slocan Hope and Change and promised transparency and accountability.

Yes, the government we were imagining was that of Barack Obama, the nation was The United States Of America and the car company Chrysler.

Read the full detals of The Obamanazi's deceitfulness, duplicity, mendacity, vindictiveness and general scumbaggery at Texas Darlin' in the post Did Obama Campaign Contributions Dictate Which Dealerships Were Shut Before too much more time has elapsed we will start to see clearly the Obama administration, from the wider world's point of view, is ten times worse than that of George W Bush.

Nothing Good Has Come Of The Internet<> When the CEO of Sony said that is his view nothing good had come out of The Internet it was bound to trigger the idiotic tendencies of nerds, geeks and webheads. One technology writer for that very respectable publication The Daily Telegraph wrote that he would have liked to pick the Sony man's article apart line by line but somebody else "had got their first." On a quality newspaper only a technology writer would be allowed to get away with that. The writer also waxed almost coherent about the "transformational effect" the internet had had on society. he probably meant "transformative." but has it?

OK, people shop online now, but they used to buy from mail order catalogues. People e-mail but they used to telephone each other or actually visit in the flesh. We may have "friends" around the world but was it not healthier to have real friends we could visit in the flesh, have a meal with, go for a walk, play games or sports together. And would our lives be any poorer had we never known these online contacts existed. What we have never known we cannot miss.

But we have all the information in the world at our fingertips on the Internet, the webheads will argue. Trouble is we have all the dross too and because the Internet is entirely unregulated, unless we have enough knowledge of a particular topic to be able to tell the worthy stuff from the arse dribble, all that information is useless. Not long ago I visited a Wikipedia article on birth control pioneer Marie Stopes. There was lots of good stuff about her childhood, education, marriage, business life, where she lived and the manner of her death but only a passing mention of her great achievements in overcoming religious opposition to birth control. Fortunately I had only wanted to check the year of her birth. The only people who believe their lives have been enriched by the internet are the kind of sad acts who think they are really popular social animals because they have 5000 friends on Facebook. Such people spend far too much time hunched over their computers. They need to get out more. instead of talking about the Internet enhancing their lives they need to GET A LIFE. Read the article in The Daily Telegraph with a link to what Michael Lynton of Sony said about the Internet. We will return to the topic here at The Daily Stirrer soon. [ Home ] ... Turning Science Into A Religion
The old "science versus faith" argument that has gone on since the renaissance has been quiet for a few months, pudh out of the news by economic crises, war and disorder and the collapse of democracy. With the anniversary of the publication of Darwin's Theory Of Evolution the debate is revving up again and in the forfront once more are a bunch of nerdy elitists who while denying they are attempting to give science the status of a religion are always eager to dismiss the ideas and questions of those who do not have degrees in formal science. This is, is it not, exactly what the priesthood of CAtholic and Orthodox Christianity, Judaeism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism and all other religions and civilisations did from the beginnings of civilisation.

"Science" simply means "a formal and classified body of knowledge" so aren't the science elitists overplaying their hand a bit. After all, everybody knows something.

Liberal Guilt Tourists Don't help Africa

A thread dedicated to discussion of Dambisa Moyo's book Dead Aid in which the Zambian polymath argues that Western aid actually holds back development in Africa.

On one side the old liberal traditions accuses Moyo of being "the darling of the right" on the other a newer liberalism contends it has been amply demonstrated that far from helping development, aid only helps create failed states and provides an outlet for guilt tripped liberals and photo - oportunities for publicity seeking pop stars.

Here's a link to an article that may make you think The Daily Stirrer is going soft. Liberal guilt that hurts Africa Take a little extra time to read the comment thread and see how divided opinion is between the traditional "Hug an African" guilt trippers and the more rational kind of Liberal.

Throughout 2008 Daily Stirrer founder Little Nicky Machiavelli was trying to tell the world barack Obama is an imbecile with intelligence on a par with a retarded earthworm and his supporters are hippie stones who rarely set foot on Panet Reality.

The latest we hear from across the pond confirms once again we were right. One of Obama's electoral promises was to introduce much tighter gun controls. Now civic leaders in his core constituency 9inner city ghettos) are demanding a "war on guns" to combat rapidly escalating gun crime and violent conflicts between gangs.

The idiots think changing the law will improve anything?

More than a decade ago there was a school massacre in Dunblane, Scotland In response the Government introduced stricter gun controls despite it being already very difficult for a private individual to own a gun. Now it is virtually impossible to legally own a gun in Britain yet gun crime goes up year on year.

When will control freak politicians get the message that people who want to use guns in criminal activity have no interest in owning those guns legally?

Do we have to spel it out again for Obamessiah worshippers? All politicians are wankers. No exceptions, black or white SAME RULES APPLY.

Children Revolt Against CCTV In Classroom ............... A news story from Davenant Foundation School in Loughton, Essex, relates how pupils marched out of their classes when CCTV cameras were installed. The pupils complained the surveillance equipment violated their civil liberties. They ignored threats and appeals and only returned when the cameras were disabled. This story may cause much wailing and gnashing of teeth among authoritarian New Labour ministers and party apparchiks in the education system but for the rest of us is the report from the Waltham Forest Guardian ought to be uplifting. The school, a mixed comprehensive, is at the cutting edge of surveillance technology and has already drawn criticism from parents after introducing finger-scanning technology it its canteen. It is astonishing that schools are spending public money on these surveillance systems, which, whatever Straw says, are grooming pupils for life in a society in which they may expect to be watched at every moment of the day. Clearly the headmaster, Chris Seward, needs a lesson or two about the essential right of privacy from his own pupils. However this looks like being delivered by the information commissioner, who has been contacted by parents and Epping Forest's Conservative MP, Eleanor Laing, a shadow minister for justice. Laing has not acquitted herself well in this affair. She told the Waltham Forest Guardian: "We need to find out if the pupils are happy to be filmed but there are two valid sides to this argument, and I am trying to get to the bottom of it." Actually there is no valid argument for this kind of surveillance, as Laing ought to know. Perhaps the students of Davenant Foundation School should carry out a democratic audit of Laing's views. And if any students have time to spare from their examinations, they might like to enter my essay competition with a short composition on the rights of children in schools entitled "What Mr Seward doesn't know about pupils' rights". Clearly the Neofascists of NuLabour place a great deat of faith in the words of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order, instigator of The inquisition and oppresor of the gentlt Cathars. "Give me the child to the age of seven and I'll give you the man for life." We mut all follow the example of the pupils of Davenant Foundation School and stand up to thse authoritarian bastards now. An American Recession - Food Stamps and Poverty Chic
Whenever we at The Daily Stirrer hear politicians and bankers talking about "Green Shoots Of Recovery we almost crap ourselves laughing. What is most hilarious is that these people who are supposed to be experts in managing global businesses and national economies seem convinced the only way out of the recession is by continuing to do the very things that got us into it in the first place.

In Britain the bailout of the banks and the strings attached to government money have created a situation where banks can lend to bad risk clients but are prevented from making loans to solid businesses who are seeking perfectly normal financing to facilitate profitable business activities. Meanwhile in America the much vaunted stimulus, the TARP initiative, the bail outs of banks and other measures have failed and the economy is still almost at a standstill. On top of that the dollar, which as the world's reserve currency had propped up the U.S. economy for at least two decades now seems to be in freefall again as quantitative easing, the Obama administration's last desperate throw of the dice, fails to attract buyers for the US government bonds that are underwritten by toxic assets bought in to save the banking system from complete collapse.

So far we have not done too badly in Britain. Across the pond the queue for the soup kitchen is getting longer every day.

America's Hunger Crisis - food stamps and poverty chic

Around the world we are reaping the inevitable reward for the lunacies of libertarian capitalism, the Thatcherite obsession with free markets. The jobs that earned the wages and sustained our economies have all ben exported to the low labour cost economies of nations ruled by tyrannical governments. Those economies do well because they are tightly, if unfairly regulated. The western economies continue to decline because there is no constraint on the flight of capital from wealthy nations to low tax, low regulation regimes.

All in all the western economies could noy have got it more wrong.

A Radical New Political Idea
What started out as a fairly straightforward story, the Bag O' Shite scandal concerning an MP who thought he could by a bag o' shite (well seeral bags o' shite actually, on his parliamentary expenses has exploded over the past two weeks into the collapse of the british parliamentary system. Democracy itself is beginning to look a tad threatened.

The Daily Stirrer (formerly Little Niky Machiavelli) has been saying for years the party political system threatened to smother democracy. Unlike the American susten which started with a clean slate 225 years ago, the British system had evolved from pre-christian times. Even so the system served us well so long as people were prepared to behave honourably and observe the spirit of the law rather than its letter...click button to read full article

Bilderberg Bastards One of the most important meeings in the world, The Bilderberg Group, took place over 6 days up to the 18 May. This group comprised of the world's leading politiciand businessmen and financiers meets annually but little is known and even less reported of what goes on. Why is that do you think? And why is the meeting's venue surrounded by a level of security that makes the inauguration of a United States President look like a church coffee morning? The lack of openness, the paranoid suppression of news reporting and the heavy handed treatment of the few journalists who have got past the security suggest if we knew more about bilderberg we would not like it. We must find out more.

Oxford Professor Of Poetry - Another Case Of Reverse Racism
Allegations of sexual impropriety should not stop him becoming Oxford's professor of poetry. Art and life are separate entities says Lindsay johns writing on the withdrawal of black poet Derek Walcott from the election to the post of Oxford Professor of Poetry following allegations of sexual impropriety with a student.

The incident referred to, which took place during Walcott's tenure as a visiting professor at Harvard University in 1982 can only be described as allegations, a law suit was raised but settled ot of court. So what can we assume? Well the settlement did not constrain the female student from repeating the allegations in a book and sending photocopied pages to 100 Oxford academics due to take part in the election so you can decide for yourselves what Walcott and his legal advisors think the result of a full court hearing might have been.

The student alleged in the book titled "The Lecherous Professor" Walcott asked me to, "Imagine me making love to you. What would I do? ... CLICK BUTTON TO READ FULL POST

Education Alone Cannot Make People Clever
Former chief inspector of schools Chris Woodhead argues cleverness is in the genes and pushing the academically less able into higher education is a waste of money for the taxpayer and time for the pupil.

That will go down like the proverbial lead zeppelin with the Politically Correct thought police.

CLICK HRE to read the full article Education Does Not Make People Clever

Do you agree with Woodhead who is simply pointing out that not amount of government meddling with the aim of turning us all into standard human beings will succeed as everybody is different. One of the most corrosive effects of politically correct thinking has been the fostering of a sense of entitlement in the lower strata of society. Not everybody is born with the ability to suceed academically, not everybody will become a megarich businessman and not everybosy who can strum three chords on a guitar is destined to be a pop star. Somehow though, more and more young people seem to develop the attitude that these measures of success are theirs as of right.

This is a big factor in the rottenness that is festering in the societies of the western world.

How can we combat it? Mail you comments to and they will be added to the post.
Naturally the Politically Correct Thought Police were not impressed with Woodhead's thoughts. Having addled their brains with politically correct ideology though these smug twats latch on to Woodhead's saying not all children can be clever although that is completely correct. Where he went wrong was in linking natural ability with social class.

Bruno Westfield in The Daily Telegraph says it is time Parliament got away from sleaze and back to politics. He's right but the only way we will do that is to abolish the party whips offices and run a system where MPs first loyalty is not to party but to consituents.

Now we should abolish capital gain and dissolve parliament, but we won't says Ms Treather. Surely they are not all a bunch of greedy, spineless, self serving twats are they? How Many MP's Does it Take To Change A Lightbulb? The Answer to that question is none, they simply call an electrician to do it at a cost of the taxpayer of £100. One of the articles on the MP's expenses, noses in the pig trough scandal suggested the fuss over claims for bath plugs, televisions, bedding and a bag o'shite to spead on the garden is trivial; the real question we should be asking is what kind of people do we want in Parliament. The answer to that clearly is, "Not the kind who have to call an electrician when they need a lightbulb changed.

Unable to admit their mistake, slaves to the defunct economist whose thinking dominates our economics faculties and central banks, they act like so many Nick Leesons,…
