Why The Intellectual Elitie Truly Despise The Lower Classes

Have you noticed that the professional hand wriners of the left have shifted their focus from 'the poor' to minorities. They did not succeed in abolishing poverty so whaty's going on? Simples. The intellectual left having elected themselves to speak for the poor found the poor were able to speakl for themselves and resented posh pokenoses pontification about matters of which understanding cannot be gained by reading books. This article exposes the hypocrisy of the left ...

Why The Intellectual Elitie Truly Despise People They Pretend To Care About

by Ian R Thorpe
3 May 2012

In his book The Intellectuals and The Masses: Pride and Prejudice Among the Literary Intelligentsia, 1880-1939 (review - Google Books) comments on the elitism and intellectual snobbery of leading left wing academics and writers from the late nineteenth to the mid twentieth century.

Professor Carey's book identifies modernism as a way of thinking born out of a snobbish revulsion among people in the higher levels of society to the spread of literacy and popular culture among the working classes. Modernism, Carey says, is less a cultural movement motivated by certain aesthetic and spiritual imperatives than a closing of ranks by social cabal. Its chief ambition is to exclude people from outside the cultural and intellectual elites from the enjoyment and understanding of culture, music, literature and such. To this end the self-appointed elitists of culture, commerce and politics may bask in their imagined superiority which is affirmed every time they look down from their lofty heights at 'the little people.'.

Or, to put it in a colloquial phrase we can easily tell the cultural value of a thing: If a lot of people like it, it must be crap. In this sense, modernism is fundamentally "antidemocratic" and quite possibly veering sharply towards a kind of fascism.

"Intellectuals could not, of course, actually prevent the masses from attaining literacy," Professor Carey explains. "But they could prevent them reading literature by making it too difficult for them to understand - and this is what they did. The early twentieth century saw a determined effort, on the part of the European intelligensia, to exclude the masses from culture."

Quite true. Most modern poetry that earns the acclaim of literature professors and the kind of critics who set the standards for this new elite is so deliberately obscure, so brutal in its torturing of language, as to defy any attempt to make sense of it. I am a fan of poetry and have seen my own published published and yet am mystified by the egomaniacal babbling of most modernists. Their work has no structure of theme, mostly it is a self indulgent experiment in analysing the poet's own psyche.

The literary experiments of Mallarme, Eliot, Joyce, Virginia Woolf and others of that ilk were undertaken not with the intention of communicating ideas to a wide audience or for any aesthetic or spiritual reason but simply as an exercise in obfuscation. Literature is not unique in this, who can make any sense of the "installations" of modern artists and what is the point of an artwork if it requires a thousand - word explanation to give the viewer a clue about that it illustrates? Literature, books and poetry, does hold a special place in the weaponry of the new elite. If we cannot read and comprehend we can do little else.Books and poetry have the ability to educate and entertain simultaneously. Who among us has not at some time in their live loved a poem as much for it's rhythm and use of language as for it's message or moral. Even if it is a Dr. Seuss rhyme, something like Green Eggs and Ham, or a bit of nonesense like Lewis Carrol's Jabberwocky, there is a love of words, rhythm and variation of pace and tone to be gained from them.

The new elite, the "progressives" as they like to style themselves, like to sneer at popular fiction. They are wrong, it is the literary fiction presented as having superior quality they should despise. People who followed Bernard Cornwell's "Sharpe" series will have not only learned about Wellington's Iberian Campaign against Napoleon Bonaparte's French Empire and about early nineteenth century weapons, military tactics and politics, they will have also been offered some insights into how ordinary people fared in that brutal war. Likewise the books of John Steinbeck give us a vivid picture of California in and just after the Great depression, delivering the message in a more engaging way than some weighty social history written by the type of person who would sneer at Steinbeck's populism.

For those who would rather get a broad picture of history from an enjoyable novel than a detailed but dry and dusty text book I can recommend Cornwell's books on the Hundred Years War, Harlequin or The Archer's Tale describing events leading to and the actual siege of Crécy and Azincourt obviously about the well known, thanks to Shakespeare, battle of Agincourt.

The left's social engineering programme goes back a long way. Early in the twentieth century, seeing that the enfranchisement of the working classes and women would create a voting bloc capable of swaying every election, those who perceived themselves part of the elite but who were regarded as inferior by the old aristocracy and "old money" made a concerted effort to infiltrate the new political movements that represented the lower classes with the aim of creating a new political hegemony, a political and academic class sustained in power by the massive electoral clout of working class votes.

Clearly the masses aren't uniformly dull witted although perhaps viewed from the ivory towers intellectuals place themselves in, it is easy to perceive uniformity where there is in fact rich diversity . Anyone who doubts this need only visit Wanlochhead in Scotland. but as that is a rather expensive exercise, I'll go into travelogue mode and give you the quick tour.

Pretty little Wanlockhead (link below) is the highest village in Scotland, in Dumfries and Galloway the tourist information tells us. Approach it on a sunny day and it looks delightful, the tiny white-painted cottages nestling in the among the hills by fast flowing burns of clear water, the fibrous grass cropped short by sheep that wander freely, knowing the sparse traffic poses no threat. The reason most people come here is to see the lead mining museum.

It is no good looking for the museum building as you enter the village though, you're already in it. No lead has been extracted from the local mines since the mid-20th century, even though rich seams of the stuff, and other minerals run through the bedrock. The seams are too deep even for modern technology to make them either economic or safe. All that Wanlockhead has left is its pub, and its heritage. Hardly anyone lives there any longer, and it relies on its status as a mining museum – run by a village consortium – to pull in tourists.

It is the best type of museum because rather than exhibits the infrastructure of that old life is all still there, intact. After taking a look at some of the cottages, decked out as they would have been in the early 18th, 19th and 20th centuries , visitors led by a guide whose accent was made for reading aloud the poetry of Robert Burns venture 150 yards into the mine. The guide's Scottish accent reverberates with indignation as he describes what conditions were like for the miners.

The men worked in this tunnel for 10 hours a day, six days a week were, in the early nineteenth century, paid £20 a year. From that they had to provide their own tools, their own explosives, even their own candles, so it was dark, very dark. They began their working lives at eight years old. Many of the miners died in accidents. Because the material mined was lead there was no risk of firedamp, the explosive gas feared by coal miners, but lead holds more stealthy dangers. The inhabitants of this early industrial Klondyke who survived accidents died of lead poisoning. In Wanlockhead, back then, a 35-year-old was very old man.

The early workers built the walls of their cottages from stone, freely available in this landscape. But they had to get permission to take the turf and the heather to put on a roof. That belonged to the estate. If the estate wanted you out, they had the right to burn you out by setting the roof on fire; the roof that belonged to them. Even as we mock the politically correct posturings of the modern left it does no harm to remember the type of treatment dealt out by the powerful that caused Trade Unionism and Socialist movements to come into existence. Then as now however the elite despised the lower orders and regarded them as pitiable imbeciles not capable of being educated, behaving in civilised ways or appreciating the finer things in life.

As we reflect on those things they bring us to the real reason for our coming here. What ought to be becoming clear is that far from the dull witted brutes their remote and aloof masters imagined them to be, these people possessed an astonishing resilience that, with the help of their Presbyterian faith enabled them to work together together in community whose spirit acted to mitigate the adversities that life flung at them and to aspire to change things for the better.

The best way to get a sense of this in Wanlockhead is to spend some time looking in the library, the second oldest miners' subscription library in the world. Its eclectic collection of books was assembled by men who lived and worked in appalling conditions, endured soul destroying poverty and died young. Against the odds they managed to set money aside for books and for a place where these books could be kept, read, and shared. The library building also hosted meetings of the village's silver band, its quoits club and its curling club. Literature, music, sport, leisure – all these were nurtured, and paid for, by the miners themselves. No government grants in those days but that worked in their favour. There was no Nanny State to tell them what to think, no patronising social workers to sap their get-up-and-go, you see. No welfare, no rights, no easy distractions to featherbed them all and make them indolent.

The books in the library tell us these uneducated miners took their autodidactism seriously. There is little of a frivolous nature and few novels. The tourist guide explains there were dire punishments for those who suggested the acquisition of books deemed unsuitable by the strict Protestant pastors who wielded the moral power in the village. She suggests that brave soul who argued for, and won the right to read The Origin of Species might have made a better living in a circus, putting his head in the lion's mouth.

It was not just in the reading tastes of Wanlockheafd's miners that we can observe the vast gulf between the actual lives of working class people and the assumptions of left wing intellectuals who self righteously set about "saving the masses from deprivation and despair." The evidence is everywhere. During the industrial revolution that caused a great shift from rural areas to the towns just as a new middle class sprang up, the bourgeoisie or lower middle class, so new sub classes of the working classes merged. One of these was what became known as "the aspirational working class". When the Labour politician Ernest Bevin (1881 - 1951) gave us the line "Poverty of aspiration leads to poverty of spirit," he was not talking about modern aspirations, to live in a bigger house or own a car (in his lifetime any car was a luxury for many) but of a more spiritual aspiration, to make oneself a better person either by learning, changing values or by being an active member of the community.

All through the stratified working class people were active, in politics, cultural activities, hobbies and by being members of clubs and churches. In my part of England there was a great musical tradition, the Brass Bands. These were established by workers in coal mines and cotton mills, often sponsored by the owners, and achieved an extraordinarily high level of musical excellence. These bands which played a mix of classical, church and traditional music, were part of the fabric of community. Brass Band concerts on the bandstand in the park or sometimes in the town square were free entertainment for families. Often the origins of the bands were reflected in the names, The Grimethorpe Colliery Band, The Leigh Miners Welfare Band and (I'm not kidding now) The Back Dyke Mills Band comprised of workers at Black Dyke Woollen Mills in Queensbury, Yorkshire. The mills are closed now but with the word Mills dropped from the name they continue, despite protests from the Politically Correct Thought Police as the Black Dyke Band, insisting that hey had the name before it meant anything else The British movie Brassed Off starring Ewan McGregor and the late Pete Postlethwaite, though it may be too left wing in its sentiments for some, tells of the role the Brass Band played in those small industrial communities.

There were other cultural cultural activities going on too. Even small town could claim several dramatic, operatic or choral societies, there were Scientific clubs that usually met in the Mechanics Hall or a function room in a Working Men's club to talk about the lastest developments in science and technology, groups for artists and photographers, football and cricket teams of various levels and of course the churches. And all were open to everybody regardless of income or education. Far from a brutish rabble who were condemned by their ignorance to live in misery and despair the working classes lived in a vibrant society. There were the drunks, gamblers and wasters of course, those things are part of life but for the most part, people understood that not everybody can be a doctor, lawyer, business owner, consultant, college lecturer or celebrity. They had the grace to accept their lot and just get on with making the best of the hand life dealt them. And what they hated far more than their bosses were the patronising paternaslistic lefties who presumed to tell them how they should live their lives.

Another illustration of this concerns literature. Music Hall comedians had long made fun of the industrial areas, the ugliness of the towns, the way soot from factory chimneys blackened everything, the strange, guttural accents that owe as much to the old Viking and Celtic languages as to The Queens English and to the fact that thanks to our Viking and Celtic heritage many northern place names just sound funny. Oswaldtwistle, Barnoldswick, Cleckheaton and Mytholmroyd could be names of places where goblins live but they are real (my wife was born in Oswaldtwistle.) however the ultimate joke town was Wigan. Wigan was synonymous with poverty, pies (meat and potato pies, the staple diet of mine amd mill workers) and a brand of daftness that owed more to unworldliness that stupidity. The best joke about Wigan was it's pier. To late Victorian and early twentieth century audiences the word pier conjured up images of the gaudy pleasure piers at costal resorts, cast iron structure built out over the sea where in season there was always some kind of show it the pavilion at the end and along the length of which fortune tellers, ice cream vendors, souvenir merchants, tattooed ladies and tacky freak shows were arrayed. Wigan, 40 miles inland, boasted no such attractions, the "pier" was a landing stage on the Leeds and Liverpool canal, an older useage of the word.

Wiganers took it in good part, and laughed at the jokes but the bohemian left of the metropolitan elite took it on board as literal truth. In the finest bleeding heart style they took it upon themselves to help these unfortunate wretches who knew no better than to live like brutes. In the 1930s members of the Left Book Club decided what Wiganers really needed to raise their consciousness was somebody to write a book about them, a sociological tome describing their poverty and hopelessness. These London based intellectuals commissioned a young man from a well to do family who after a very expensive private education had worked as a colonial servant in India before moving to Paris to pursue a career as a writer to live in Wigan, study the lives of the poor and write something that would raise awareness of their plight.

The writer's name was Eric Blair and in lodging with several families in the town he was appalled at what he saw. Not at the vulgarity or brutishness of the people but at the appalling treatment they endured with a certain nobility. I have read many books that describe similar conditions endured by the urban and rural poor in the USA. The problem was that everybody knew how terrible the slums were, everybody was aware of the suffering caused by bad working conditions, damp homes and lack of facilities. And everyone thought something ought to be done about it ... by somebody else. This was the start of the era of big government. Power was being centralised in national government departments and municipalities, Church Parish Councils and local charities were being squeezed out of the picture. The one-size-fits-all solutions of big government seldom fit anybody properly, local problems need local solutions. It was also the start of the era of corporatism. Instead of factories and mines being owned by local families who lived in the community close to their workers, businesses were now owned by anonymous shareholders who lived miles away and had no sense of what was going on. That is not to say the local capitalists were perfect but the mean spirited tightwads subject to pressure because of the more acceptable conditions offered by some of their competitors.

Eric Blair was the opposite of a modern left winger, raging about equal rights or homophobia or the evils of smoking and alcohol but too delicate to address the innate conservatism of the working class, the problems of race or the failure of the education system, he had no time for what we would now call political correctness and its close kin multiculturalism and moral relativism, instead he wrote of what he observed with a cold fury but saved for the people of Wigan that he came to know, a warm admiration as he described their resilience and cheerfulness. Of one man whose family he lodged with he said "That he can, after ten hours working a thin seam (a coal mining term describing a task that involved lying on ones belly in a tunnel probably no more that two and a half feet high, chipping coal with a pick and pushing it backwards mole - like for others to load into skips) he can converse jovially or sit and read Dickens, Hardy or translations of Zola or listen to plays and discussions on their radios is a testament to the nobility of the human spirit. His sympathies lay not with the intellectuals who might pass resolutions about the need for change but would do nothing or if they did would only make matters worse because they did not understand the problem. He supported they guys who lay on their stomachs in cold, dank, blackness, with coal dust clogging their lungs as they chipped at the seam.

His book, which he called The Road To Wigan Pier was rejected by the Left Book Club, well it challenged their assumptions so it had to be wrong. Eric wasn't discouraged however, he took it to a commercial publisher and under the title The Road To Wigan Pier it became famous. Eric did too but only after he changed is name to George Orwell. A couple of his books which predict the kind of authoritarian regime the members of the Left book Club yearned for became best sellers and are still in print today.

When next you hear David Cameron prattling about his "big society" or the vacuous windbag Obama blethering about "community organising" reflect on the library at Wanlockhead. There we find what is missing from modern society. It is not the finger wagging admonitions of Nanny State or the scaremonger ring of her cohorts in the pseudo - science lobby.that chivvy us into being good members of society, but adversity. It was not ordinary people of Wanlockhead who needed strong governance to keep them in line, their awe inspiring religious leaders did that. It was the ruling elite, who abused their power without restraint, that made "big government" necessary. But as we now know, big government does not work any better than elitism. Only small government works. Small government at municipal level and provincial level based on the ideal of community service, without party politics and the influence of big money. Only by returning to that and to the principle that our representatives are elected to serve the interests of their constituents and not those of political parties or vested interests can we start to tackle the problems of society.

In a bizarre turnround it is now the left that seeks to exercise via big government, the kind of power the masters of the past relied on and to infantilise and marginalise the lower classes. But the modern left are as remote from and ignorant of the lives and the mindset of ordinary people as were the moneyed elite they have displaced.

Getting Started With ExistentialismIn our section on philosophy existentialism had to be a major focal points. The world is constantly being defrauded by false prophets and self styled messiahs with promises of deliverance from the constant dangers and uncertainties of life. Established religion, faith and belief systems such as Christianity, Islam and Judaeism and systems of thought like Hindu and Buddhist philosophies at least offer the comfort of belonging and the refuge of ritual while the new crypto-religions of science and psychology arrogantly claim infallibility while failing to deliver on all fronts. Existentialism however is the philosophy of personal responsibility.
Theosophy For BeginnersThose two old friends of Greenteth Multi Media, Philo and Sophia, are dedicated to spreading wisdom and understanding. It's natural then that their page here should include a sub menu on Theosophy, an almost forgotten belief system now although it was only founded in the nineteenth century. Theosophy is based on the ideas of Helena Blavatsky and while it drawns on the ancient wisom found in Hindu, Budhist and Zoroastrian teachings it is fully compatible with Protestant, Catholic and Orthodox versions of Christianity as well as Jewish and Muslim beliefs.
The Flight From FreedomFleeing from freedom seems like a contradiction, after all we usually asdsiciate flight with escaping from captivity. In this first part of Existentialism for Beginners however the author identifies a human instinct that predisposes us to seek illusory safety by conforming and being part of the crowd rather than embarking on the lonely life of the free thinker, the person who truly makes their own decisions and follows their own path.
Liberal? What Does That Mean? What is a liberal? Is it something to do with the kind of politically correct thinking that obsesses over minority rights while seeking to marginalise mainstream society? Is liberalism an authoritarian system that seeks to impose politically correct left wing ideology on everybody. Or is a liberal, as is argued here, a very respectable political postion whose name has been usurped by people reluctant to acknowledge their inner Nazi.
Populist AuthoritarianismThe Labour Party may talk of socialism but their Nanny State tyle of ovrbearing governmental control freakery rather than protecting the weak according to the political philosophy of John Locke seeks to suppress individualism and impose uniformity by spreading fear and panic. This approach achieves equality by making all weak and dependent. Unfortunately it debilitates the nation.
Broken SocietiesAn appraisal of Coming Apart: The State of White America 1960-2010 by Charles Murray. inequality is a very hot topic, Murray is one of the few people looking at it from a conservative point of view, which is strange when one looks at what is most likely causing this divide. Policically nations have never ben more polarised with conservatives and liberals both convinced the other is evil, while the gap between rich and poor widens, the middle class disintegrates and the working class becomes a state dependent underclass.

It is all in the name of tolerance of course, or divesity as Phillips would say. But how does telling people what they can and cannot think promote diversity?
A Liberal's DilemmasThe progresive left, the politically correct Thought Police, are big on supporting all minorities in their pursuit of their rights and in preaching tolerance and diversity to society at large. Rebellion Against EU Authoritarianism Escalates As 8th Member Nation Threatens Referendum
Brussels went too far, they crossed the line in moving from an economic union to a political pan - European political empire. In the end it was a race as to which member state would quit first, Britain, Natherlands, Denmark or Italy. In the event it is Britain.

No Easy Answers For Immigration
The most sensible immigration policy is one that matches demand for labour with supply. While ensuring compassion and capacity for genuine refugees, we should take care that new arrivals looking for 'a better life' do not land in such numbers they become a burden on those that host them.

Is Brexit A Harbinger Of Doom For The 'Experts' The Brexit vote, the decision by a democratic majority in Britain to leave the European Union has sent shockwaves around the world. Not only does the EU now face a tsunami of departures, the usurpation of democracy by 'experts' ( technocrats ) has been challenged and exposed as a sham.

US Media Bias RevealedAs Political Fact Checkers Caught Covering Hillary Clinton Crimes

CNN Money’s “fact-checkers” Cristina Alesci and Laurie Frankel ended up with egg on their faces on Wednesday after they rated as “false” a well-established and proven Clinton Cash fact involving Hillary Clinton’s State Dept. approving the transfer of 20 percent of U.S. uranium to the Russian government, as nine investors in the deal funneled $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Why Do The Weatern Powers, The United nations And The EU Continue To Tolerate The Terror Sponsor Erdogan And Turkey
The terrorist links of NATO member Turkey and its corrupt and tyrannical President Erdogan are so well documented they are beyond reasonable doubt... Erdogan has traded oil and arms with ISIS, committed humanitarian crimes against The Kurds and given refuge to ISIS fighters in Turkey. And yet Barack Hussein Obama continues to support his regime and the European Union is determined to fast track Turkey to full membership.

BREXIT vs. GREXIT – The Truth About The European Union And How It Treats Members
The only thing that will halt the European Union in its tracks, stop the push beyond Europe's geographical borders and prevent EU expansion to incorporate Asian, middle eastern and north African nations is war. Unless the testicularly deficient politicians stand up to the bean counters of Brussels. That's what they are, bean counters; not one among them is a risk taker or a person who has advanced because of their willingness to put their arse on the line.

How Barack Obama Did Not Save The World (and he isn't desended from King Tut.
President Barack Obama boasted of his legacy during a question and answer session in Britain, asserting that he single- handedly saved the world during his presidency. “Saving the world economy from a Great Depression — that was pretty good,” Obama bragged when asked by a student in London what he wanted his legacy to be.

The Hypocrisy and Snobbery Of The Remain Campaign And The Antidote
When I had to defriend a Facebook contact because she was arguing in favour of the EU, it was not simply because I support Brexit that I had become pissed of with her, it was the snobbish and condescending way she dismissed supporters of LEAVE and their case. People are entitled to their opinion on the European Union, but they should check the 'facts' they post in support of their arguments.

The Labour Case For Brexit by Kate Hoey M.P.
After my short intro is a savage indictment by Brexit supporting Labour MP Kate Hoey of the way the Labour Party has abandoned the working class and is now trying to betray the party's proud heritage and its roots in the industrial areas by taking Britain into an undemocratic, corporate controlled, capitalist friendly, elite dominated globalist control freak project.

FBI Vows To Go Public If Obama Blocks Indictment Of Hillary
The only thing saving Hillary right now is the protection being given her by The Obama Administration. However, if Obama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, does not follow her oath of office and indict Hillary Clinton, FBI investigators will go public with their findings, according to former US House of Representatives majority leader Tom DeLay.

Orlando Shooting: Eyewitness Testifies ‘More Than One Shooter’
Just as happened with the San Bernadino shooting in California and the Paris attacks of 2015, accounts of the incident in Orlando in May 2016 from people who were at the scene differ from the version of events given mainstream media. A victim of Sunday’s terror attack at the gave a bombshell interview to ABC news in which he alleged there were several terrorists rather than the lone gunman news reports describe.

The Tyranny of The Economics Academics Is Coming To An End
The pseudo-Keyneseanism peddled by economics academics has failed disastrously, at huge human cost and to the advantage of authoritarian tyrants around the world. At last, as the global economy totters on the brink of collapse, the economic idiocy looks to have entered its end days. The 'sound of the last trump' will probaly occur in early November this year.

NSA Planning To Exploit 'Internet Of Things' Including Biomedical Devices
The post might appear from the headline to be aimed primarily as a US audience, but with US Government Surveillance now global, other governments sharing data with the NSA and The Internet sliding its tentacles into domestic appliances, cars and even the plumbing in our houses it affects us all.

Is Bilderberg A Sinister Group That Runs The World Or Just A Tea Party For Rich And Powerful People
Are the Bilderberg Group meeting, this weekend in Dresden, Germany, really The Shadow Government (the New World Order, The Illuminati,) that rules the world?

It's That Bilderberg Time Of Year
Every year, the world's richest and most powerful business executives, bankers, media heads and politicians sit down in some luxurious and heavily guarded venue, and discuss how to steer the global economy in a way that maximizes profits for all involved, while perpetuating a status quo that has been highly beneficial for a select few, even if it means the ongoing destruction of the middle and working classes and the creation of a servile, uneducated, ill informed underclass, the 'proleteriat' of Karl Marx' writing.. We are talking, of course, about the annual, and always secretive, Bilderberg meeting.

EU's Bureaucratic Dictatorship Is Losing The Support Of The Most Loyal Nations
When the unelected bureaucrats of the European Union Commission decided, without consulting member states, to comply with the wishes of the warmongering rent - boy in The White House and impose sanctions on Russia, after Vladimir Putin ordered the annexation of Crimea (to prevent the US backed neo - fascist government in Kiev carrying out a genocide of ethnic Russians in Crimea,) the idiotic goons were as usual duped into doing Washington's dirty work.

What Did Donald Trump Say To Earn a Liberal Lynch Mob On His Case
Over in the good ol’ US of A the ‘progressive liberals’ as that failed state’s authoritarian reactionaries like to label themselves, are getting their knickers in a right old twist about alleged ‘racist’ remarks made by the presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump who said something unforgivable about a Hispanic US federal judge. So what exactly was it he said about this bean – bandit judge that led intellectuals and academics to call for his murder?

Adolf Hitler, His Part In Our Downfall

.pdf dowload
A thirty five thousand word book on the authoroitarian, undemocratic, bureaucratic dictatorship that is the European Union. Following the outburst of left wing hate politics following Boris Johnson's reminder that the EU has its roots in Hitler's Naziism, which as any intelligent person is aware is both true and very well documented. My blog colleagues and I decided to assemble this collection of our articles (with some long extracts quoted from public domain and creative commons sources) to help people misled by the REMAIN campaign into thinking the arguments are solely economic.

US Senators Attack Attorney General Loretta Lynch For Sanctioning With Hunt On Climate Change
Lawyers for Exxon Mobile went to court in Texas last month seeking to block a subpoena issued earlier this year by the attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands, which, alleging that the oil and petroleum giant is deceiving the public about the effects of climate change, demanded the company open its records to Department of Justice lawyers. Exxon responded by claiming that the subpoena is an unwarranted phishing expedition into Exxon's confidential records and as such violates its constitutional rights;

b>US Missile Shield; Loved Up Obama And Cameron Laugh As Putin Warns Poland, Romania Now In The "Cross Hairs"
No surprise then that during a joint press conference with Alex Tsipras in Greece, Putin warned Romania and Poland they could find themselves in the sights of Russian rockets because they are hosting elements of a U.S. missile shield that Moscow considers a threat to its security. Under the malign influence of Washington and Brussels these country's leaders have now exposed their people to the threat they most feared.

UK Conservative Politician Says Referendum Is An Establishment Stitch Up
Britain will be unable to stop Turkey from becoming a member of the European Union (EU), the Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Penny Morduant, has said. Predicting that up to a million Turkish people could come to the UK unless Britain votes to leave the EU in June, declared that the EU referendum is an “establishment stitch-up”.

EU Vows To Use Powers To Block All Elected ‘Far Right’ Politicians From Power
... populist social conservatives are regularly topping the polls across the Europe, but have been victims of EU orchestrated stitch ups to keep them out of power and ddeny the democratic will, in France, Sweden, Holland, and now Austria – and anti-migrant populists are already in power in Hungary, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Mr. Junker’s definition of “far right” is somewhat broad, noted by him previously describing Hungary’s conservative president, Viktor Orbán, as a "fascist".

As Conservative Candidate Moves ahead In Austria, Left Wing Lie Machine Goes Into Overdrive
In spite of blatantly biased reporting from The BBC, while print and commercial broadcast media virtually ignore the story, a result from the presidential election in Austria looks set to send shockwaves through Europe. The candidate referred to by the BBC as 'extreme right wing' looks to be heading for victory. Firstly, the candidate in question, Norbert Hofer, is not extreme, he is ...

Latest From Project Fear On Brexit Is Complete Bollocks
George Osborne and David Cameron warn more than a thousand jobs will be lost every day if Britain votes for Brexit. It’s just another lie, there is not one valid reason for Britain to stay in the embryonic Nazi empire that the European Union is set to become. The EU destroys jobs by making hiring workers difficult and expensive because of minimum wage and maximum working hours rules, because EU free trade policies make it too easy to offshore jobs ...

De-Petrodollar-ization Esclates - China Imports Record Amount Of Russian Oil In April
We have telling the world for years (and a few thousand of you each day are listening now) that Russia and China have been gradulally executing a plan to replace the the US dollar as global reserve currency. Can this woman possibly be a fit and proper person to serve as President Of The USA
While US mainstream media have been obsessing over transgender rights and whether chicks-with-dicks should be allowed to use the same toilet facilities as women and little girls, the American democratic process has been dragged further into the mud (if that was possible) and the candidacy of Hillary Clinton look to be in greater jeopardy than ever despite her having almost certainly won the primaries campaign by a big enough majority of delegate to secure the nomination ...

Continuing mass protests by students and trade union members showed the battle of over his reforms to the country's labour laws are far from finished. After Yugoslavia NATO changed from a mutual defence alliance to an organisation for military aggression.
After the break up of the Soviet Union, a point in history when many in the west mistakenly thought Russia had ceased to be a major power and the USA unilaterally declared victory in the cold war, people around the world looked forward to an era of peace and prosperity. They could not have been more wrong, in fact even the most cursory examination of history will show that Russia has seldom been an aggressor.

American GM Wheat Losing Out To Russian Organic Wheat In World Markets We've been trying to get the truth out on GM crops, loved by American corporate business, rent-a-quote scientists and politicians for several years. The massed ranks of big money and big politics are still ranged against us but it seems that one again we the New Media are winning. The more the 'experts', professors and politicians tell us genetically modified crops are good, the mor suspicious we become.

Former Equalities Chief Says ‘Superdiverse’ UK Will ‘Burn’
Unusually for a left wing figure and to his great credit, Mr. Phillips was admittting he had been wrong to argue in favour of mass immigration from theocratic Muslim nations, expressing his disgust at the racism, anti – semitism and wave of violent and sex crimes, and observing that he doubted Muslims can ever integrate into western society because of the difference in the mindset.

European Parliament President Says ‘Vast Majority Of Europeans Do Not Want Borders’
The Europhile German Social Democratic Party (SPD) politician stated that if the populist, anti-mass migration Norbert Hofer becomes president "this will change Europe’s character". Last month Hofer came top in the first round of the Austrian elections, and in two weeks voters will go to the polls for the second round, to choose between the right wing FPO figure and his Green rival Alexander Van der Bellen as the nation’s next head of state.

Armed Forces Minister: Obama ‘Woefully Ignorant’ of Threat EU Membership Poses
Referring to a statement Mr Obama made in the Telegraph on Friday in which he said: “The European Union doesn’t moderate British influence – it magnifies it,” she responded: “Unfortunately this opinion betrays a woeful ignorance of the practical reality of the EU’s impact on our security, and the interests of the U.K. and the US.”

Wall Street 'Whistleblower' Exposes Clinton Foundation Fraud

The woman is a phoney, a self interested, self aggrandizing elitist with a sense of entitlement the size of a galaxy. Whatever Hillary does, and whatever minority group the claims she is acting in the interests of, you can bet the main beneficiaries are Hillary Clinton, her family and her cronies.
No surprise then that a whistleblower has exposed Hillary's charity, 'The Clinton Foundation as a fraud.

De Dollarisation Accelerates As Russia Prepares To Launch Ruble-Priced Oil Trading Platform Russia is ready to take the next step towards killing the petro-dollar and dumping the US$ as global reserve currency, a move we reported last year. Vladimir Putin's ruble-based pricing of its domestically-produced oil is on the verge of realization. SPIMEX (The St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange) is actively courting international oil traders to join its emerging futures market ...

Google Now Has Access To Millions Of Patient's Health Records

A controversial deal between tech giant Google and the National Health Service (NHS) will allow artificial intelligence units access to 1.6 million confidential medical records. Since 2014, Google has partnered with several scientists in an attempt to understand human health, but a new report reveals the data gathering goes far beyond what was originally anticipated - well now there's a surprise.

How Facebook, Instagram, Google, and Twitter Use Censorship to Kill Free Speech
A new study by Onlinecensorship.org — a collaborative effort between the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and Visualizing Impact reveals that social media sites and search engine operators have been collaborating closely with government agencies to control the type of content we may see online. Most readers will know of people who have been kicked off the social networking site for designated periods of time for ‘violating community standards' ...

EU Commission Backs Turkey Visa-Free Travel Amid Terrorist Cautions
As if the EU does not have enough problems of its own, the Bureaucrats of Brussels seem determined to take on the middle's east's perpetual violent chaos by granting Turkey the right of visa - free movement throughout the Schengen zone for its 70million citizens and tens of thousands of jihadists

German Justice Minister Runs From Stage As Angry Audience Members Yell "TRAITOR!"
The peoples' pushback against European federalisation and genocide of Europe's white working classes by flooding nation states with third world immigrants continues to gather pace as, with the onset of warmer weather, the flow of illegal immigrants into Europe starts to increase towards last year's levels.

TTIP document leak - A preview of the corporate fascism treaty from War On Want
The Trans Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) was teetering on the brink of failure before Greenpeace Netherlands obtained a massive swathe of leaked documents that prove the treaty is, as many people feared, a corporate power grab rather than a free trade arrangement. This exposure will not stop the fascist regimes of the European Union and the United States trying to push it through against massive public opposition. The ruling elites have only contempt for democracy and the people

The ‘Colossal Unmentionable’ of the Climate Fraud
An incisive analysis from The Wall Street Journal that shows who and what will benefit from the great climate change scam (clue, it will not be the climateor the environment and it will certainly not be people like you and me.)

US-Created System In Iraq Is Collapsing: Protesters Storm Parliament
Less than two years ago, the US set up a puppet government in the mid-east state of Iraq when, following US pressure, on August 14, 2014 then prime minister al-Maliki agreed to stepped down and be replaced with Haider al-Abadi. Today, the regime is in chaos and the system set up by the US is collapsing. Obama Admin Denies Saying “No Boots on the Ground” in Syria After Saying It 16 Times This is our second report today that catches Barack Obama and his administration of 'homies' in a blatant lie. The first related to the TTIP trade treaty, this one concerns the decision to deploy American ground troops in Syria, after Obama had repeatedly stated there would never be any US soldiers on the ground in Syria

The Oligarchy Is Tottering - Trump Tramples The Neocons' "False Song Of Globalism"
Donald Trump scares the global establishment as do the anti Federalisation parties in the EU. We take a long and detailed look at why, and exactly what the globalist agenda would have meant for freedom and democracy had people not wonken up and opposed it in vast numbers. Kudos to the Islamic Jihad too, medievalist religious nuts they may be, but they resisted American attempt to impose western consumer culture on them.

The Pretensions Of Pop Culture And The Death Of Intellect

... It’s part of a distressing pattern these days of overwrought commentary about popular culture. As well as Beyoncé thinkpieces there are the Stars Wars thinkpieces, of course, and the Lana Del Rey thinkpieces or, God help us, even Kanye West thinkpieces. Don’t get me started on the fact that “thinkpiece” is now treated as if it were a single word...

Europe Rejects Obama Doctrine - US Exceptionalism Is Not Acceptable
With a backlash against his efforts to bully Britons into voting to remain in the EU pushing the leave campaign into a narrow lead in opinion polls Obama's vistit to Europe last week could hardly be described as a success. Illegal Immigrants, Bogus Refugees and Jihadist Asylum Seekers - Europes Self Engineered Crisis For a UK based libertarian site dedicated to promoting the traditional values of personal and national liberty, freedom of speech and thought and democratic rule accoring to the will of the majority, the social and economic disaster that is the consequence of the European Union's 'borderless world' project is a big news topic that will run for years. Here are the Greeneeth team's posts on Europe's Immigrant Crisis and The Islamification Of Europe

US Threat to Businesses Scares EU Members As Summit On Continued Sanctions Nears
Although the US and EU economic santions on Russia in retaliation for Moscow's annexation of Crimea to prevent a genocide of the ethnic Russian majority by the neo Nazi government installed in Kiev after a US engineered coup deposed the elected government, weaker European nations are spooked at the possibility of US retaliation if they do not obey Washington's diktat

Weather Channel Founder Slams Global Warming Fraud
The climate change lobby have been on the back foot for a long time as eminent scientists queued to be next to point out that when real world observations repeatedly contradict data produced by mathematical models run on university computer systems, any credible research team would take a long critical look at their models rather than adjusting the empirical data so it gives the required answer.

Lifelong Feminist Carmen Paglia Slams Hypocrite Hillary Clinton And Her 'Liberal' Supporters
As strong evidence emerges that the New York Democratic Primary election between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders was rigged by the Democratic Party Nominations Committee in favour of their preferred candidate Clinton, America's hectoring on other nations on democracy are making it a laughing stock around the world.
