First Libya. next Syrian then The World for The Emperor Obama?

by Ian R Thorpe.

Led by The All Conquering Emperor Obama, jingoistic calls for military invervention are gaining volume if not support. Well OK we know the great peacemaker hopes a middle east war will save his Presidency as Iraq saved Bush's but just as more than half of Libyans supported Gadaffi so, according to polls conducted by western firms, more than half of all Syrians support Assad. The only justification for war then is Obama's need to inflate his ego.

First Libya. next Syrian then The World for The Emperor Obama?

It's nice to see mainsteam media catching up with The Daily Stirrer after only a few months, usually it takes them a few years if they ever get there at all. A recent article in The Guardian reported what we have said all along about the so called Arab Spring and the unrest throughout the middle east, that the efforts to overthrow governments are being orchestrated by the west and in particular by the arch enemy of western civilisation Barack Hussein Obama.

Jonathan Steele wrote in The Guardian last week As Obama Positions Himself For A War In Syria We Learn That Like Gadaffi, Assad Is Popular With His People

As the Daily Stirrer pointed out with Gadaffi and the Libyan people and as we have said of Assad in Syria, most people in those nations supported their leaders. You would never guess this from reading or listening to western media however. Polls and demonstrations affirming Assad's popularity, reports from Arab League observers and US military involvement have all been distorted in the west's propaganda war. What US Military involvement you might well ask? Well US Special Forces have been active in Syria "advising" leaders of the anti government protests for many months just as they have in Yemen and were in Libya in the period leading up to the civil war and the fall of Gadaffi..

Now we are not saying Gadaffi or Assad were good or benign dictators, both have ben incompetent leaders of repugnant regimes. But Libyans and Syrians are the people to decide who runs their country and what kind of a regime they will accept, not western leaders and certainly not that scum sucking spawn of a pox whore's scab louse Barack Hussein Obama whose mission, as becomes more and more clear to anyone not still blinded by the colour of his skin, is to extend the Goldman Sachs empire globally.

Already as a result of Obama's provocation of unrest, we have seen Islamist parties who pledge to impose Sharia law elected in Tunisia and Libya. A similar Islamist group waits in the wings in Syria to step in when Obama finally bombs the Assad government into submission. Notice a pattern here, Obama talks about liberty and democracy but helps undemocratic extremists to replace bad governments with even worse theocracies. Well he did once say in a conflict between Christianity and Islam he would support the Muslims. There is a lot more to being a good or wise leader than just being black.

Opinion polls have found that most Syrians are in favour of Bashar al-Assad remaining as president. Now among all the reports of the regime's brutal oppression of dissidents you might think that would be would be a big news story? For one thing the only possible conclusion to be drawn from the poll would go against the the Euro American narrative about the Syrian crisis and the media ought to see the unexpected as more newsworthy than the orthodox view.

Media coverage of events with political implications ceased to be fair and unbiased many years ago but with the advent of the Obama era broadcast and print news has turned into a propaganda weapon, inconvenient facts get suppressed. Josef Goebbels would be proud of his successors.

A recent YouGov Siraj poll on Syria ffunded by the Qatar Foundation showed support for Assad in Syria is strong. Qatar's royal family has taken one of the most aggressively anti Assad lines of all Arab nations, the Emir has called for Arab troops to intervene in support of the dissidents, so it was good that The Doha Debates news organisation published the poll on its website. Sadly it was ignored by almost all media outlets in every western country whose government has called for Assad to go. British and American news organizations simply continued to chant the anti - Assad mantras they are fed by the Obama - New World Order propaganda machine. It is just the same as when we were all being told our governments were defending Libyan civilians when really our military personnel were involved in a war of regime change.

Make no mistake, without British and French air support and a constant flow of American arms and ammunition courtesy of Barack Hussein Obama, the Libyan insurrection would have quickly been crushed by Gadaffi with the lost of maybe a thousand lives rather than the estimated hundred thousand. Another story from the Arab Spring we are hearing little of in the west is that Gadaffi supporters have regrouped in Tripoli and other population centres and are starting to attack the interim government. Ah but that was not in the script so western propaganda departments cannot permit it to be mentioned.

The key finding of the Sryan poll are that while most Arabs outside Syria feel President Assad should resign, attitudes in the country are different. Some 55% of Syrians want Assad to stay. The fear a bloody civil war as Islamic extremists attack secular Syrians and try to impose a theocratic regime if Assad falls. Such possibilities are theoretical for the western pseudo - intellectual chatterati but for those who live inside Syria's borders the threat to their hard won liberties is very real. Extremist loving pseudo - liberal crypto - Nazis may think sucking up to the rebels is a fine thing to do but to Syrians faced with the choice between their wives and daughters being able to go to the shops unveiled and in the company of female friends, drive a car or get an education and giving up those things to massage Barack Hussein Obama's ego, it's a no brainer.

The results of the poll were not all good for the Assad regime. It also found that half the Syrians who accept him staying in power believe he must enact political reforms including free elections in the near future.

Biased media coverage also continues to distort the Arab League's observer mission in Syria. When the league endorsed a no-fly zone in Libya last spring, there was high praise in the west for its action. Its decision to mediate in Syria was less welcome to western governments that want a madate for military intervention, and to high-profile Syrian opposition groups, who increasingly support a military rather than a political solution. So the league's move was promptly called into doubt by western leaders, and most western media echoed the line. Attacks were launched on the credentials of the mission's Sudanese chairman. Criticisms of the mission's performance by one of its 165 members were headlined. Demands were made that the mission pull out in favour of UN intervention.

This is all academic. the Russians and Chinese were angerd by the west's deception in Libya where they agreed to a UN manadate for military action to prevent a slaughter of civilians in Benghazi only for the USA, Britain and France to use that as an excuse to make war on the Gadaffi government with the aim of bringing about regime change. Foreign military intervention, it has already started. It is not following the Libyan pattern since Russia and China are still angry at the west's deception in the security council last year. They will not accept a new United Nations resolution that allows any military intervention or use of force against the Assad regime. The model is an older one, Remember Ronald Reagan's support for the Contras, whom he armed and trained to try to topple Nicaragua's Sandinistas from bases in Honduras? For Honduras read Turkey, the safe haven where the so-called Free Syrian Army has set up.

Here too western media silence is dramatic. No reporters have followed up on a significant recent article by Philip Giraldi, a former CIA officer who now writes for the American Conservative – a magazine that criticises the American military-industrial complex from a non-neocon position on the lines of Libertarian Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Giraldi states that Turkey, a Nato member, has become Washington's proxy and that unmarked Nato warplanes have been arriving at Iskenderum, near the Syrian border, delivering Libyan volunteers and weapons seized from the late Muammar Gaddafi's arsenal. "French and British special forces trainers are on the ground," he writes, "assisting the Syrian rebels, while the CIA and US Spec Ops are providing communications equipment and intelligence to assist the rebel cause, enabling the fighters to avoid concentrations of Syrian soldiers …" Again only the blogosphere reports what is really going on to western audiences. I am lucky enough to have Pakistani friends who confirmed this story for me. It is all over the news in the Islamic world.

As the danger of a regional war increases, Arab League foreign ministers are preparing to meet in Cairo this weekend to discuss the future of their Syrian mission. No doubt there will be western media reports highlighting remarks by those ministers who feel the mission has "lost credibility", "been duped by the regime" or "failed to stop the violence". Counter-arguments will be played down or suppressed. The Obama - New World Order Alliance wil do anything, absolutely anything to start a bigger war, Obama in the hope that it will do for his re - election hopes what the invasion of Iraq did for George W Bush in 2004, the New World Order because war means profits.

Electricity bills set to rise to pay for wind farm subsidies
While sensible people agree that the climate is causing serious problems few people still think this is due solely to CO2 emissions from human activity. Even the author of Gaia theory has said the problem is more complex. Unfortunately climate scientists with their snouts in the tax money trough are still pushing the discredited idea that wind turbines and solar panels can meet our energy needs. Well if that is the case why are domestic fuel bills rising to pay for subsidies paid to the operators of these failed technologies. [ also Daily Stirrer 21 May 2012
