Barack Obama flew to Hawaii this week after fiscal-cliff negotiations stalled, in part for a Christmas vacation, and in part to attend the memorial service for the late Senator Daniel Inouye. Obama offered a eulogy for Inouye, a eulogy usually means praising the deceased’s life and character. Instead, as is Obama’s wont, he talked more about himself than the man whose life was supposed to be the center of attention.

Someone needs to tell Barack Obama—it must get particularly confusing this time of year—that his own birth is not Year One, the date around which all other events are understood. His much-noted, self-referential tic was on cringe-worthy display Friday when the president gave his eulogy for the late Sen. Daniel Inouye, who served in Congress for half a century representing Obama’s birth state of Hawaii.

Inouye was a Japanese-American war hero (he lost an arm in World War II, destroying his dream of becoming a surgeon), and as a senator he served on the Watergate committee, helped rewrite our intelligence charter after scandals, and was chairman of the Senate committee that investigated the Iran-Contra affair. It’s the kind of material any eulogist could use to give a moving sense of the man and his accomplishment. But President Barack Obama’s remarks at Inouye’s funeral service were a bizarre twirl around his own personal Kodak carousel.

Now Even The IPCC Admits CO2 Driven Global Warming Was A Scam

MPs urge David Cameron to stand up against EU superstate

Conservative MPs have warned Prime Minister David Cameron and other ministers in the Coalition government who harbour pro - Euronazi sympathies that there are "deep concerns" in the country about what kind of threat a European super-state could pose for British democracy. Today Mr. Cameron leads a delegation to to Brussels for talks on the creation of a European banking union.

The Prime Minister will be on the outside of discussions, as Britain is not one of the 17 eurozone countries planning to cede sovereign powers over tax and public spending to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.

The British delegation will be fighting to make sure the new banking union, which will lead to a future political union, the so called superstate presided over by a committee appointed from the ranks of the financial and academic elite, does not threaten Britain's financial interests.

Ahead of the summit, Mr Cameron was warned by the House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee that the proposals could damage democracy and the EU's single market.

"The Prime Minister needs to be aware, as he discusses these matters that the debate has moved on from specific concerns about individual issues to fundamental questions which involve our democracy," said Bill Cash MP, the chairman of the committee.

The MPs urged Mr Cameron "to secure very robust language about the single market and the role of national parliaments".

England Slips Behind Basket Case Nations On Science

A new survey published today shows English pupils have fallen behind less advanced European nations including Slovakia and Hungary in global science rankings.Primary school children in England are falling behind in science and have slipped below Slovakia and Hungary, an international education league table shows.

English pupils dropped from seventh place in 2007 to 15th place last year in an authoritative study based on science tests given to 10-year-olds in 50 countries. Schools in England also failed to improve in the rankings for maths, although they went up the global table for reading skills.

Elizabeth Truss, the Education Minister, admitted that the decline in science was a “real concern” and said the results showed a “very worrying” lack of progress in maths.

In spite of dropping down the rankings in sciences, children in England still performed better than the international average in maths, science and reading.

However, the Government said it was vital to improve standards in these core subjects in order to compete internationally.

Measures being introduced include a sharper focus on learning arithmetic and the times tables in primary schools and more concentration on algebra and geometry at secondary level.

The respected studies, led by academics from Boston College in the United States, were based on tests taken by schoolchildren around the world in May and June last year, but the findings were published for the first time today. The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (Timss) placed 10-year-olds in England 15th out of 50 countries for science in 2011, down from seventh out of the 36 countries which took part in the tests in 2007.

The league tables continued to be dominated by the East Asian education powerhouses of South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.

Since starting to contribute to The Daily Stirrer I have argued that if we want the sciences to flourish in western (particularly American and British education there needs to be less emphasis on theory and more on practical science. When I was at school over half a century ago we learned by being involved in practical experiments and then learning the theory behind them. It was interesting to learn why something that had looked like magic worked the way it did.

A favourite of mine was the levitation experiment in which magnetic fields are used to lift a metal object from a base and suspend it above the surface. After a career change in my late forties when I switched from being a professional engineer to teaching in higher education and was amazed to learn that my pupils had not seen this in high school because the principle had been explained in the form of equations. Nobody really understood it.

Even more shocking was when I tried to arrange a practical demonstration all sorts of bureucratic obstacles from budgetary constrains to health and safety concerns were put in the way.

Theory is not the way to engage young people, it can come later. Show them a metal weight floating above a table and most will want to know more. And they key to educating it to make pupils want to know.

Doha Climate Talks 2012: Ed Davey agrees to climate deal that will cost Britain billions

After negotiating for 24 hours with no sleep, the Lib Dem minister said he had helped achieve a "modest step forward" in the latest round of United Nations climate change talks in Doha, Qatar. Ed Davey, the Coalition government's Climate Change Secretary, has agreed an international climate change deal that will commit Britain to spending billions of pounds and tough green targets.

The Doha deal extends the Kyoto Protocol and promises to look at compensation for poorer countries affected by climate change. As part of the EU, the UK will be committed to the new carbon targets under the second commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol. And who might assess the value of alleged damage we wonder?

We understand the deal will not mean we have to change current targets to cut emissions by 34 per cent by 2020 on 1990 levels immediately. However it will mean considering higher targets by 2014. This could mean the UK moves to 42 per cent by 2020.

Mr Davey said all countries must raise their target level before 2020. He believes the UK should lead the way by pushing for increased targets in 2014. "I do think we need to take more action before 2020," he said.

In contrast, Chancellor George Osborne has insisted on reviewing the target in 2014 to consider whether it needs to be brought down if cutting carbon is damaging industry. (Or we hope Mr. Osborne is thinking, the compo being awarded to African begging bowl economies by Nazi bureaucrats appointed by the United Nations is likely to cost too much.)

Only the EU and a handful of other countries signed up to an extension of the Kyoto Protocol. Once again the neo Nazi bastards of Brussels are selling us down the river in an attempt to buy themselves politically correct sainthood. By contrast China and the US, the largest emitters in the world, are not bound by any legally binding treaty to cut emissions before 2020. It looks as if our stupid leaders have volunteered our great old nation for suicide by political correctness.

Heavy industries are already concerned that the UK is at a competitive disadvantage because of our stupid, spinless, middle class guilt tripping politicians' willingness to sign up to stronger green targets than other countries thus hamstringing our economy at at time when they should be telling the EU, United Nations, IMF and all those other neo Nazi bureaucracies that we have our own problems to deal with.

Liberal Democract and traitor Davey insisted however that the US, China and other countries are 'making progress' towards a wider deal to cut emissions. So why don't we try 'making progress' instead of inviting a lot of tin plate tyrants from the third word to shaft us up the arse. We could be making progress for decades without actually doing anything.

The 194 countries at the talks also agreed to work towards a global deal by 2015 that will commit most countries to cutting emissions from 2020.

"We are paving the way to a legally binding treaty in 2015, that is the goal," Mr. Davey said. The poor deluded sap thinks that once such a deal is signed all the other signatories will abide by it if we do. How the hell did we ever end up with a Parliament full to overflowing with pathetic, lame, metrosexual limpdicks?

The deal also commits the UK to spending more money on helping poor nations adapt to climate change.

Obama funneling billions to UN for climate-change redistribution

At issue in the latest video from Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK) is the UN’s Green Climate Fund, which aims to garner $100 billion from industrial nations ostensibly to bolster efforts to get developing nations to use renewable, non-hydrocarbon energy rather than coal and oil in their development. In practice, as we have seen at UN climate-change conferences, te fund has been treated as an entitlement and even a type of reparation by developing nations from the US and the West. Inhofe, who couldn’t attend this year’s climate conference in Doha, which is just as well, as media around the world has described it as “a farce,” and a “stalemate and failure.” Inhofe instead put together this video, in which he claims that the Obama administration has sent billions of dollars already into the UNGCF and plans to send billions more even while the US struggles with trillion-dollar deficits:

Media reports support Inhofe’s claim that the Green Climate Fund was a leading topic of discussion in Doha. The fund’s stated purpose is to provide capital and incentives for clean energy efforts in underdeveloped countries. It was agreed to in 2009 and officially launched in 2011, with a goal of raising $30 billion by this year and $100 billion a year by 2020.

How much has actually been paid into the fund, though, is unclear, and a Dec. 4 Financial Times story says the initiative may be “strangled at birth” by squabbling over control of how the money is spent and who qualifies as a “developing nation.”

A December 2011 Bloomberg New Energy Finance white paper said the U.S. had pledged $2.4 billion to the fund and actually paid about $1 billion, but Inhofe thinks the figure is much higher.

Why are we putting any money into this at all? These are the kinds of activities that can be afforded by nations with large budget surpluses, not by nations teetering on a default of its bond obligations. In a very real sense, that’s not even our money. Regardless of the virtue of the effort, which in this case is highly questionable if not outright laughable, the US cannot afford to give one billion dollars away to UN slush funds, let along $2.4 billion or even more than that, if Inhofe is correct.

We can’t afford adime of this — especially while the White House proposes to sit on its hands while the sequestration cuts $500 billion from the military over the next ten years, or struggles to reform entitlements. Can the White House look soldiers in the eyes and tell them that their aging weapons systems on which they rely for their lives can’t be upgraded while they fund endless parties in Copenhagen and Doha, and send cash to countries because they argue we owe them for the ills which they have entirely visited upon themselves? Can the administration tell seniors and the disabled that their benefits have to be trimmed while billions go to the UN for a slush fund that keeps corrupt bureaucrats in power in Turtle Bay and end up in the hands of petty autocrats and dictators?

Let’s hope that the FT is right, and that the UNGCF has been “strangled at birth” — and it’s instructive to seewhy:

In a sign of the simmering antagonism overshadowing the negotiations in the Qatari capital of Doha, a group of 17 countries led by China and India have told the conference that the UN should be able to vet any investment made by the new green climate fund.

Such a move would be untenable for the private sector investors the fund is supposed to encourage, say the heads of two international investment groups focused on climate change.

“It would create too much uncertainty and stop people investing,” said Stephanie Pfeifer of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, which represents many of Europe’s biggest pension funds and asset managers.

“It would be like a government setting up an investment vehicle and having every investment it makes go back to the parliament,” said Nathan Fabian of the Investor Group on Climate Change in Australia and New Zealand.

“If one of the objectives of the green climate fund is to attract private sector investment, this would achieve the opposite,” he said. “It would mean the fund would be strangled at birth.”

Well there you have it. It is not about Climate Change, it never was about climate change. It is about control of capital on a global scale, the biggest step on the stairway to the Soros / Rothchild / Bilderberg / New World Order wet dream scenario, a totalitarian, global government.

Free Speech and Informed Opinion Banned At United Nations Climate Talks

British peer Lord Monckton of Brenchley was ejected from UN climate talks in Doha, Qatar last night for denouncing the "Science is settled" dogma of the Church of Scienceology's powerful Global Warming sub - cult.

Monckton took the chair of Myanmar and spoke into the microphone against UN climate change protocols.

After a short speech, in which he was booed, he was escorted out of the meeting by UN guards.

He is understood to have claimed there is no global warming in the last sixteen years, and therefore the science needs to be reviewed.

Claiming to represent Asian coastal nations, he is understood to have said: "In the 16 years we have been coming to these events there has been no global warming at all."

He added: "Even if we were to take action to prevent global warming the cost would be many times greater than cost of making adaptive measures later. Our recommendation is that we should initiate very quickly a review of the science to make sure that we are all on the right track."

He has been banned for life from UN climate talks.

Speaking afterwards, he said he was acting on the "spur of the moment".

“I don't think it was my turn to talk, but the opportunity presented itself and I took it,” he said.

"I was very bad – I pressed the button and made a short statement.”

"I know it was bad of me, but I got some brief points across which the delegates probably didn't expect.

“They have now taken my badge, but it's not the end of the world.”

If you look at it objectively (while scienceology cult members are grizzling about people not respecting the dogmas of their faith, the blatancy of the science fascists is absolutely staggering.

Not that threw Moncktom out for speaking out of turn nor for saying something that was off message at an event that is carefully stage-managed to send out the message that "only the global elite can save us from disaster and them only if we all agree to become slaves of a totalitarian global government"; but that he has been effectively banned FOR LIFE for stating his position.

Hypocrites. Lord Monckton is stating what all intelligent people worldwide, including the co founder of Greenpeace, which is Global climate change is a always happening, always has and will. Man is haveing no effect on climate change but a great many people are making vast sums of money from this myth of the watermelon. How much money have we, the British taxpayer lined the pockets of the windmill industry with ? Hopw much money have political parties accepted from these con merchants?

There is global warming. Since 1875 the world has heated by 0.4 degrees. OK, given that in the last 137 years the world population has quadrupled and we have had the Industrial Revolution, so it is not surprising that there ha.s been some change.

But 0.4 C is a rather small increase, and given thataccording to some sources Antarctic Ice is increasing and that the said increase could be due to both measurement technology improving and perfectly natural reasons like solar activity and orbital cycles, I think we all need to realize that these in dopes in Doha are using bad science in order to keep us poor, and scared so that the people pushing for a global government can maintain control.

The answer lies in our hands, we need a political realignment; decentralisation of power, local democracy and not onpeople with the necessary experienceto make decisions ebased on evidence and experience a not on belief, theory, and not on belief, theory or politically correct idealism.

I recently looked at a post by a man who claims to be a "scientist" and pursue the truth through the "scientific method." Let's call him Mr. Chuckles the Evil Clown ecause in his warped universe the "scientific truth" is whatever he wants it to be and evidence in support of that truth is whatever he tells you it is. And you and I are not allowed to question Mr. Chuckles because he's a scientist and therefore infallible, ineffable and an all round better person than us (but we only have his word for any of those things). Climate Change and Global Warming are two terms used interchangeably in common conversation. In truth, Global Warming is but a subset of Climate Change, but at the moment the most threatening subset. Three recent reports highlight the reality of the threat.

In a report scheduled for release on Tuesday December 4th at the Doha, Qatar, international climate talks, scientists will warn that the melting permafrost in the Arctic is releasing huge quantities of methane, the most potent of greenhouse gasses. As the permafrost melts, buried forests and marshes begin to decompose, releasing the first scouts of tens of billions of tons of greenhouse gasses now trapped in those wet and rotting forests. Those billions of tons of gasses simply dwarf the millions of tons available for industries and governments to manage. One scientist involved in the study has said that a "tipping point," a point at which the released gasses will create enough continuous warming to create a feedback system and preclude shutting down the cycle, may have already been reached.

The simple fact, which I've posted several times now, that 15 of the hottest years on record are within the last 16 years completely debunks your entire claim that there has been no warming in that period of time. The evidence is exactly contrary to your position on the matter ... [truncated ]

It was not Mr. Chuckles' post that I took exception to, the information about methane realted imminent disaster he is trying to use to spread fear and panic has been around for twenty years and nothing bad has happened yet. The person I want to hold up to ridicule is Mr. Rory M. Here is his comment in reply to reasoned argument backed up by scientific evidence from a global warming sceptic:

It shows that actually of the twenty five hottest years since 1895 only 5 have been in the last 16 years.

Shocks In By Election Results

As expected Labout won last night's three by elections comfortably, no shocks there so what's that headline about? you might well ask

Labour retained three safe Commons seats in Croydon North, Middlesbrough and Rotherham.

From BBC News:

It increased its share of the vote in all three seats, but its majority was down in Rotherham, where the previous MP had quit over expenses claims.

The UK Independence Party came second in Middlesbrough and Rotherham, and finished third in Croydon North.

In Rotherham, the Lib Dems fell from third place to eighth, behind the BNP, Respect and the English Democrats.

The party got less than 5% of the vote, losing its deposit, in two out of the three contests.

The Conservatives saw their vote drop in each of the seats, coming fifth in Rotherham and fourth in Middlesbrough.

Death Of The Eurozone Foreseen By Economic Oracle

Professor Willem Buiter – Citibank's chief economist turned economic sybilline oracle – has published a gloomy forecast for the world economy. his view of the economc outlook is dire to start but the more closely we study it the more astonishing it becomes.

Citigroup's end of year forecast, "Prospects for Economies and Financial Markets in 2013 and Beyond", is in essence a celebration of American revival and ascendancy. It sentences Europe to slow economic death.

The growth gap in 2012 between the US (+2.2) and the eurozone (-0.4) is the 2.6pc, the biggest since 1993. Conveniently forgetting that the US growth rate is still lower than inflation thus in real terms the U.S. economy is still in recession, Buiter said this trend is not temporary. The differential will widen to 3.4pc in 2014 and continue at extreme levels later in the decade.

The compound effects of this year after year are dramatic. Europe, Buiter predicts, will be left behind as an outpost of stagnation in a G2 world dominated by the US and China, with a string of emerging powers gaining ground but still far behind. Being an American he is painting a rather rosy picture of the U.S. economy which in fact has uniquely huge problems with debt and it's systemic deficit.

He is however on the right track in saying Europe's nominal GDP will slip from 78pc of US levels this year to 66pc by 2025.

On US decoupling from it's traditional economic partners he says: "We expect very different recovery paths, reflecting differing policy choices in managing the deleveraging process, plus underlying differences in terms of the supply-side and energy availability. US real GDP per head probably will rise about 9-10% above the 2007 level by 2017 – clearly outperforming Japan’s "lost decade" real GDP per head rose by 5% from 1992-02(Here he is unrealistically optimistic but that is a common trait among Americans; the growth in U. S. GDP since 2008 has been entirely due to the Obama administrations Quantitative Easing program which has seen the Federal Exchange buying up government debt with taxpayers' money.)

He continued, "By contrast, in the euro area, we expect continued recession in 2013 and 2014 and prolonged weakness thereafter — with ongoing financial strains and, over the next few years, Greek exit from the Euro single currency system plus a series of sovereign debt restructurings. In the euro area and UK, real GDP per head will probably remain 3-4% below the 2007 level even in 2017 — markedly underperforming versus Japan’s "lost decade".

"The European economies still have underlying potential to grow: but we expect that private sector deleveraging, weak banking system, early fiscal austerity and financial strains resulting from flawed EMU structures will continue to cap demand for an extended period."

Italy, Spain, Portugal, will all need debt restructuring. France is also looking set for basket case status as President Hollande's socialist spending spree which is set to go on until until 2016 drives the economy into Obamanomics levels of deficit.

So there you have it, the "flawed EMU structures" have doomed Europe to a generation of depression even more dire than most Euro-sceptics expected. The euro itself has become a force of economic destruction. Some of us warned that European Monetary Union was a Trojan Horse for an assault on the democratic nation state and that would eventually eviscerate the fiscal powers of parliaments and pave the way for a single Euopean superstate but few thought it would lead to economic depression and mass poverty on the scale of Stalinist Russia as well.

Obama Looks More Like Wile E Coyote Than Ever as US Heads For Fiscal Cliff

Senator Lindsey Graham has become the second senior Republican in days to publicly disavow a pledge that handcuffs the party to a policy of no tax rises, raising hopes of a deal over the fiscal cliff.

Speaking on ABC's This Week, the South Carolina politician said that the only pledge members of either party should make would be one to make sure the country did not go the same way, economically, as Greece. Regarding a pledge against tax hikes that has been signed by most Republicans in Congress – having been promulgated by the conservative lobbyist Grover Norquist – Graham said: "I will violate this pledge, long story short, for the good of the country."

In the aftermath of the GOP's defeat in the presidential election of 6 November, Norquist is increasingly seeing his influence on the party decline. On Thursday, senator Saxby Chambliss said he would break the Taxpayer Protection Pledge in an attempt to help avert the automatic triggering of $600bn of spending cuts and tax increases, the so-called "fiscal cliff".

Washington has until the end of a year to negotiate a deal to avoid such a situation. Economists have suggested that a package of swingeing spending cuts and tax hikes could be catastrophic for the US economic revival, plunging the country back into recession.

Let's have some Daily Stirrer perspective on this: US debt today is $16.289 trillion and unfunded liabilities are $121.6 trillion (those are promises for Medicare and Social Security). The debt is currently increasing by $1.5 trillion a year and unfunded liabilities are increasing by $6.8 trillion a year for a total rise of $8.3 trillion a year (54% of US GDP). The US does not acknowledge its unfunded liabilities but if you are a business, local or state government in the US, you are required by law to account for those liabilities. US politicians cannot agree on a modest $300 billion annual reduction in the deficit (3.6% of the increase in debt and unfunded liabilities). Meanwhile, the US Fed is increasing its balance sheet (printing money) at $40 billion a month and soon to increase by $85 billion on January 1, 2013. The US fiscal problems are so massive and US efforts to reduce them so minuscule that if the fiscal cliff is avoided, it will be for a few weeks or a few months. EU Budget Talks Collapse; Is France On The Greecey pole?

EU leaders meeting in Brussels failed to agree to proposals for a 2014 - 2020 EU budget drawn up by neo - Nazi global government fanatic Herman van Rompuy - Pumpy , the unelected bureaucrat who poses as EU president.

Over a brief, late dinner last night Rompuy - Pumpy presented a revised budget package that diverted some money from administrative costs and the "connection" fund to farm subsidies. However, the proposal would still cut the Common Agricultural Policy budget. The French would not agree to any cuts and cling to their position that britain, Holland, Austria and Germany should bail out their dysfunctional economy while their President M. Hollanaise - Sauce continues to schlepp his looonytoons socialist economic policies along the road to Greekl style insolvency.

The talks broke up after the presentation, without any discussion of the new proposals. Angela Merkel, the German chancellor, said that the summit will fail and another round of budget negotiations will be needed in the new year.

"I doubt that we will achieve a result. There is a high chance that there will be a second stage'" Mrs Merkel said early this morning. David Cameron said the latest proposals were just "tinkering" and did not go far enough.

"There is a problem in that there hasn't been any progress in cutting back proposals for additional EU spending. EU leaders must go beyond Mr van Rompuy's proposals, Mr Cameron said.

"It isn't the time for tinkering. It isn't the time for moving money from one part of the budget to another. We need to cut spending by the EU that it's member nations cannot afford."

Diplomats suggested that if the summit ends without deal, Perfidious Gaul will attempt to blame Cameron and Britain for taking a stand against the French socialists attitude that the world owes France a living. Guy Verhofstadt, an MEP and former Belgian prime minster, mocked Mr Cameron over his negotiating tactics.He said: "It's not necessary to isolate Cameron. He isolates himself."

Rubio Gets Slagged, Obama Gets Eulogised. Yet They Said The Same Thing

Until this week the name Marco Rubio was unknown to most of us The reason many people outside the USA are talking about Marco Rubio now is that when he was ambushed by an Obama supporting journalist asked Rubio how old he thought the earth is. Marco Rubio is a Christian and a Republican and so was probably expected to say that it was a historical fact that the earth was created just over 6000 years ago.

Being quick on his feet Rubio, who thought he had turned up to talk about the economy, jobs and other important current political issues equivocated and said he did not know for sure (and why should he, how many people do know the earth is ESTIMATED to be 4.5 billion years old give or take 50 million years. I would have answered first that I actually don't give a flying fuck, it was here before me and will be here after me and second that it's age is usually given as about four and a half billion years but then we get into questions like "when does a cloud of cosmic gases become a planet" and since people can't agree at what point in a 38 week pregnancy a foetus becomes a human life we really haven't much chance of deciding at what point a cloud of spacedust became The Earth.

And the answer is irrelevant anyway. Why does it matter if the earth is two or three or four billion years old and before humans developed writing and numbers skills who was counting?

What Marco Rubio actually said was:

I don’t have any trouble reconciling that consensus with my faith. I don’t think the 7 days in Genesis have to be literal 24-hour days. The Obamessiah cult went apeshit, calling Rubio an idiot, a anti - science primitive and a creationist, a man not fit to serve as an elected representative.

The Dear Leader beloved President Barack Hussein Obama of course would have responded to the same question by delivering a two hour lecture on cosmology and the indisputable accuracy (plus or minus ten per cent) of the methods scientists use to calculate the age of the earth. Or would he?

David Cameron promises to end 'bureaucratic nonsense' over equality

David Cameron has promised to end the "reams of bureaucratic nonsense" forcing civil servants to check every decision to see whether it is fair to women, ethnic minorities and disabled people.

After a few weeks tht have seen Brtain move closer to leaving the EU, Cameron has been forced by pressure from within his own party and from the business community to pleadge action to lift the dead weight of brussels bureaucracy that stifles growth and enterprise in Europe and hands a competitive advantage to our rivals in south East Asia.

In a speech to the CBI, the Prime Minister declared war on pointless checks, consultations and reviews that hold up Government decision-making.

He said "equality assessments" to ensure every decision is "fair" to women, blacks, muslims, retards, gays and dwarf lesbian single parents will be scrapped and policies will no longer automatically be put out to consultation for three months - a process which allows people to raise concerns about Government decisions. Ministers will now get to decide how long a consultation is needed and whether it is required at all.

EU bureaucracy is the cause of long delays in recruiting new staff, it only takes a few dys to assess candidates abilities but people are having to wait for months before the bureaucracy is cleared and a start date can be agreed. By this time many poeople have lost interest and the process must begin again. If France things are so bad the delay betyween advertising a vascancy and a new job holder starting work can be up to two years.

Mr Cameron also announced his government will sweep away the right to mount multiple legal challenges over decisions, thus typing up employers in years of very costly legal wrangling.

Man 'Demoted For Expressing An Opinion' wins Judge Rules Against Gay Marriage Fascism A man who was demoted at work after expressing his opposition to gay marriage on Facebook in February 2011 was punished unlawfully for "doing nothing wrong", a judge has ruled. Adrian Smith lost his managerial position, had his salary cut by 40%, and was given a final written warning by Trafford Housing Trust (THT) after posting that legalising gay weddings in churches was "an equality too far". The comments were not visible to the general public, and were posted outside work time, but the trust said he broke its code of conduct by expressing religious or political views which might upset co-workers. Mr Smith brought breach of contract proceedings, saying the trust acted unlawfully in demoting him. Yesterday Mr Justice Briggs ruled in his favour at London's High Court, in a case which will set a precedent for employees' rights to free speech in the workplace. Two colleagues read the remark and one of them posted a response asking Mr Smith to explain what he meant. The next evening he posted: "I don't understand why people who have no faith and don't believe in Christ would want to get hitched in church. "The Bible is quite specific that marriage is for men and women. If the state wants to offer civil marriage to the same sex then that is up to the state; but the state shouldn't impose its rules on places of faith and conscience." The judge concluded the trust did not have a right to demote Mr Smith as his Facebook postings did not amount to misconduct, and the demotion imposed by way of purported disciplinary sanction constituted a breach of contract. Anti Austerity Protests Bring European Capitals To A Standstill

Angry protests have left many European capitals in chaos as millions of workers joined strikes against austerity measures they claim have made their national economies worse. Trade unions in Spain, Greece, Portugal and Italy staged a series of demonstrations throughout the continent on the organised European Day of Action and Solidarity with "general strikes" protesing ahainst austerity measures that have been blamed for driving up unemployment and pushing down growth.

International airports across the EU were forced to cancel flights, with Heathrow cancelling 39 flights while passengers on an easyJet London to Athens flight faced a delay of two hours 30 minutes. A Manchester-Athens flight was delayed for two hours 10 minutes.

This year unemployment is expected to reach record levels of 10.5 per cent in the EU and 11.3 per cent in the euro area – forecasts predict these rates will climb even further in 2013. In Rome students pelted police with rocks in a protest over money-saving plans for the school system, while riot police arrested at least two protesters in Madrid and hit others with batons, witnesses said. The young have been particularly hard hit with unemployment in the 16 - 24 age group around 25% in most nations and at almost 50% in Greece and Spain.

More than 60 people were arrested in Spain and 34 injured, 18 of them security officials after scuffles at picket lines and damage to shops and stores as protesters jammed cash machines with glue and coins and plastered anti-government stickers on windows. Power consumption dropped 16 percent with factories idled (hey, what a triumph for the green movenent).

"We're on strike to stop these suicidal policies," said Candido Mendez, head of Spain's second-biggest labour federation, the General Workers' Union, or UGT.

As protesters demanded an end to the 'intolerable measures', there were also angry scenes in London. On Oxford Street protesters clashed with police during a demonstration against the sacking of 28 Crossrail workers which had been planned to coincide with European strikes.

The government is powerless to stop tens of thousands new migrants heading to Britain after a new EU borders shake-up, Theresa May has admitted. The Home Secretary yesterday warned the Government is legally unable to block Romanian and Bulgarian citizens from coming to the UK under an expansion of EU “freedom of movement”.

Instead, she vowed to curb access to benefits and NHS treatment for EU immigrants in an attempt at making Britain a less attractive destination for new arrivals. It is our generous benefit system and the politically correct attitudes in our administration which make Britain such an attractive destination for migrants. Too often our welfare agencies are happty to pay state benefits to illigal immigrants because it would be "racist" at expect people to prove their entitled to the benefits they are claiming.

Five-year-old quotas known as “transitional controls” are due to expire at the end of December 2013 as part of the enlargement of the EU’s single market. It will give 29 million Bulgarians and Romanians the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK. The new rules have been imposed by the European Court Of Human Rights, a New World Order organisation that appears to be heelbent on destroying European civilisation.

In an interview on BBC1’s Andrew Marr Show, the Home Secretary said: “There are no further transitional controls that we can put on. The transitional controls end in December 2013. But that’s where looking at some of the issues about what it is that is attracting people to come here in terms of things like our benefit system and National Health Service is very important.”

She added: “I will be looking at what we call the pull factors – what is it that attracts people to come over here to the United Kingdom? The government will be looking at issues about benefits, access to the Health Service and things like that.”

Mrs May also said she was building alliances with interior ministers in other EU nations who were concerned about abuses of freedom-of-movement rules such as sham marriages and the use of fake passports.

Carbon Tax on Aviation Fuel Put On Hold

In a set back to the New World Order plans to make us all slaves to debt, European Commission plans to force airlines to buy carbon permits have been put on hold, heading off the threat of a global aviation trade war. Will they never learn that all these dictatorial measures aimed at cementing the contol the financial, political and academic elites exercise over ever detain of our lives only weakens the west as threats from Islamic extremism, Chinese and Indian trade wars and Russian exceptionalism gain strength.

The surprise move, announced by Connie Hedegaard, the EU’s climate commissioner, came against a backdrop of threats of retaliation by America, Russia, India and China if the scheme went ahead.

Under the Commission’s proposals all airlines using EU airports would have had to participate in the scheme requiring carriers to buy permits if they exceeded their allowance for greenhouse gas emissions.

They faced the threat of fines if they refused to do so, a move which infuriated Governments outside the EU and triggered fears of retaliation if the scheme went ahead.

Airlines said it would cost them £11 billion over the next eight years to implement.

In September the US senate passed a law giving the American transportation secretary power to order the country’s airlines not to co-operate with a scheme which, it said, violated international law.

The Racist Chair

The US election threw up (oops) some strange debating points, but none as bonkers as the racist chairs controversy.

Let's take it from the beginning, then. Republican celebrity puffer Clint Eastwood made a speech at the party convention in which he had a conversation with an empty chair. The chair was supposed to signify Obama's poor record in office. Bizarre yes, but Mr. Eastwood is an actor not a politocian and so is licences to employ dramictic devices I suppose.

The technique was ridiculed by a hysterical Obama supporter and was dubbed Eastwooding.

Republican voters, however, engaged with the idea and used an empty chair as a symbol of the Obama presidency. Problem is, they hung them from trees in their front gardens as a show of support ... which is quite obviously, err, racist because the Ku Klux Klan hung brown people from trees and chairs are sometimes brown.

Three "lynched" empty chairs with signs that read "Nobama" were found hanging at a home near a public park in Centreville, Virginia.

Douglas Burger, the owner of the home, told Patch.com the chairs were just a reference to the internet meme popularized by Clint Eastwood's bizarre speech at the 2012 Republican National Convention.

"It's just Eastwooding," Burger said.

Burger also denied the chairs were being "lynched" or had racial overtones. "Not at all. They're up because otherwise people would steal them," Burger said. A fair point well made.

You don't get away with it that easy, you racist bastard! roared the mindless mob of Obama supporters who, like medieval witch hunters seeking The Devil, were determined to finf racism everywhere. It doesn't matter what you thought you meant, only the offence that was taken. Understand? Hate law, clause 1, paragraph 5,273,445 clearly states that if a black person or an Obama supporter thinks something is racist then the author of that speech or gesture is guilty of hate crime and has no right to a fair trial, no constitutional rights, no right to remain silent and no rites of spring.

Assad Speak Out On West's Syria Invasion

President Bashar al-Assad has said a Western invasion of Syria would have "global consequences" warned that the cost of such action would be unbearable.

The Sayrian Dictator also rejected calls from David Cameron and others that he seek a safe exit, vowing he would "live and die in Syria".

"I am not a puppet.... I am Syrian and I must live and die in Syria," Assad, who has stood firm for almost two years in the face of a western backed revolt against his rule, told Russian Arabic-language channel Rusiya Al-Yaum.

Prime Minister David Cameron this week suggested granting Assad safe passage from the country, saying it "could be arranged" though he wanted the Syrian leader to face international justice.

Cameron is wrong, the prime sponsor of the Syrian revolt, a certain Barack Hussein Obama, the child - man President of America has shown himself to be petulant and vindictive as well as the main enemy of the free world. Obama also sparked the rebellions in Egypt and Libya that have reulted in rather unpleasant secular regimes being overthrown and replaced by famatical Islamic theorcracies that are implacably opposed to all co - operation bwith the west and are intent on imposing medieval Sharia law on citizens of the nations they rule.

Mr Assad has also warned western leaders against a foreign intervention to deal with Syria's escalating conflict, saying such a move would have "global consequences" and shake regional stability. He said Syria was the "last bastion of secularism, stability and co-existence in the region" and that an intervention would have a "domino effect" that would affect "the world from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific."

"The price of an invasion of Syria, if it were to take place, would be higher than the world can afford to pay," he said.

Many in Syria's opposition, including armed rebels waging fierce battles with pro-regime forces, have urged the international community to intervene to stop escalating bloodshed in the country that rights groups say has left more than 37,000 people dead.

The cowardly Obama of course is eager to use the humanitarianism card to depose assad as Gadaffi was deposed in Libya by an all out war masquerading as humanitarian intervention so that a puppet controlled by the extemist Wahabi vregime in Saudi Arabia can be put in place. If the \saudi puppet in The White House is ever brought to trial for his war crimes he will at least have the excuse "I was only following orders."

Fans of ubernerd and lying piece of shit Nate Silver are again claiming the Matrhematics worshipping wannabe cult leader predicted the outcome of the US election with uncanny accuracy. Again they are lying as Silver himself lies about his predictions. Yes he called the result, a win for Obama, accurately in 2008 and again in 2012 but calling the result in a two horse race is not hard.

(BTW yes I I calling Nate Silver a liar, I look forward to hearing from his lawyers and will take great pleaasure in destryoing Mrt ilver and his phoney "science" life in a court of law.)

What Nate and his mathematics worshipping fans are less keen to mention is that each time he predicted a landslide victory for Obama. Well 2008 was a comfortable win with a margin on 7% in the popular vote but in 2012 the margin was less than 2%. What Nate bases his dishonest claims on is the American electoral college, a system in which each state is allocated delegates according to population. A candidate only has to win the state election by one vote to get all that state's delegates.

Now as there are only really ten states that are likely to change hands and of these the most marginal is Florida with 29 electoral college all Nate has to do is guess the results in a majority of those states. All the other states are solid Democrat or Republican and as the Democrats hold most of the heavily populated states there is a huge built in bias in the electoral college. A Republican whould have to win the popular vote by a huge margin to claim the narrowest of victories in the electoral college unless they manage to edge Florida as George W Bush did in 2000.

Mitt Romney did a much better job of predicting the outcome than Nate Silver. Mitt was secretly taped back in May telling Republican fund-raisers that half the country would support Barack Obama because they depend on the government for all or part of their income.

Romney correctly identified America’s burgeoning entitlement culture as the deciding factor in elections and a major obstacle to a Republican winning back the White House. That observation wil hold good until the money runs out and the Brave New World Democrats can no longer borrow enough to buy a majority with unaffordale benefits payments.

As Mitt said ‘There are 47 per cent of the people who will vote for the President no matter what . . . who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe they are entitled to healthcare, to food, to housing, to you name it.’

America used to be The Land Of The Free, now it is the land of the crackheads, dopeheads, dickheads, wasters and fuckups. and Barack Husseing Obama who is all of those things.

I Would Do Anything To Get Assad Out Of Syria Says Cameron

Syrian president Bashar Assad could be allowed a free pass to flee his country if it would end the bloodshed, David Cameron said today. The Prime Minister said he would do ‘anything to get that man [Assad] out of the country’ but refused to offer Assad a safe haven in Britain.

Mr Cameron is on the second day of a tour of the Gulf and Middle East, where he has faced criticism for trying to sell UK arms to countries with questionable human rights records. Now there's irony for you, Sadudi Arabia, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Iran and the Emirates criticising us for doing business with coulntries that have poor records on human rights. Pity Maggie Thatcher gave away all our oil and we have to rely on those bastards.

Mr. Cameron has also publicly backed the Arab Spring uprisings, which began in Tunisia and also saw governments swept aside and replaced by undemocratic Islamist regimes in Libya, Egypt and Yemen. In Syria there have been bloody battles for more 18 months, with tens of thousands of protestors killed by government forces and tens of thousands of Assad supporters killed by ~~bloodthirsty religious fanatics~~ brave freedom fighters.

While the fighting continues in Syria the nation's fate is expected to top the agenda for the two G20 leaders.

In an interview with Al Arabiya television the warmonger Cameron was asked what he would say if President Assad said he wanted a safe exit. He told : "Anything, anything to get that man out of the country and to have a safe transition to democracy in Syria.

Like all other western leaders, when it comes to foreign affairs Cameron is a cupid stunt for thinking the wests interests will be served by getting rid of the secular Muslim Assad and replacing him with a regime of Islamic fanatics who hate the west and want to impose Sharia law in their homelands. Getting rid of Mubarak in Egypt, Gaddafi in Libya and Saddam in Iraq has really turned those nations into beacxons of democracy and enlightened liberal values hasn't it?

Statins, The Drug The Government Wants To Make Us Take, In New Health Risk Warning

Regular readers will know that The Daily Stirrer has previously warned of the intentions of the science fascists who have hijacked the healthcare industry and particularly on their efforts to persuade gullible, control freak politicians that everybody over 50 should be put on a daily does of this drug which is used to lower chol;esterol.

The medical science community, whose primary concern is not with public health but with the profits of drug companies because of course the greedy, self serving doctors and academics who want to make sure the lavish "hospitality", the bungs and the payola keep flowing.

There are still some people in the industry with integrity however. A new publication from The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)warns that millions of people who take statins to ward off heart attacks and strokes must cut their dose over fears they are at risk of serious side-effects.

Statins have been hailed my medical authorities as a wonderdrug which can slash cholesterol and protect against a host of chronic illnesses. But the medicines regulator is concerned that some could suffer agonising muscle problems, lung disorders and kidney damage. It warned that those taking simvastatin in combination with drugs which slash high blood pressure are at risk of the side-effects.

Some people should take a lower dose or be moved on to another statin, the MHRA said.

Simvastatin is the most frequently prescribed cholesterol statin in the UK, commonly given to elderly patients. Family Doctors gave out almost three million prescriptions for it in England alone last year. Every day eight million people take various statins which cost as little as 40p a day.

Experts want those aged over 50 to be routinely prescribed them to ward off a host of chronic and potentially fatal illnesses from heart problems to cancer and dementia, even if they are deemed at low risk. They say giving an extra five million people statins would cut heart attacks and strokes by 10,000 a year and save at least 2,000 lives. Scientists are hypersensitive to criticism and when bloggers and commentators in mainstream media accuse them of having a totally irresponsible attitude towards patients and displaing fascistic tentencies it always causes wailing and gnashing of teeth. When those same researchers and medics talk of witholding treatment for other ailments from people who refuse to take drugs they don't need and which might harm them, what else can we conclude.

The push to force people to take statins continues even though the side-effects are well known with some patients taking the drug suffering side-effects from insomnia and stomach upsets to a potentially lethal lung disorders, kidney damage and muscle degeneration.

Most experts still agree that the benefits of taking them far outweigh any risks. That is the kind of idiocy the reliance of science on statistics has led scientists to. If one person in then thousand dies because they have been taking prescribed statins the scientists will say it is statistically insignificant. but try telling that to the person who dies.

Nick Clegg launches attack on Tories who want to escape from Europe

In a row that threatens to split the coalition government, Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has warned the Conservatives Britain is at risk of leaving the EU if Tories keep trying to “unravel” Europe by clawing back sovereign powers and trying to force Brussels to cut it's own budget in the same way as the bureaucratic dictatorship has imposed austerity on member states in order to save the doomed single currency. After the Government lost a vote in which Conservsative rebels and the Labour Party voted to seek a cut in the EU budget, the deputy Prime Minister warned that Britain is in real danger of exiting the Union if Tories keep "stamping their feet" and demanding new rules. He also claimed "a grand, unilateral repatriation of powers might sound appealing but in reality, it is a false promise, wrapped in a Union Jack". The deputy Prime Minister’s remarks will be interpreted as a swipe at David Cameron, who has promised to bring back powers from Brussels. Speaking at Chatham House, Mr Clegg said the Lib Dems will play no part in taking back powers without absolute assurances that Britain can opt back in. He also said there is "no hope" of a cut in the EU budget, as demanded by more than 50 Tory rebels and the Labour Party, because no other country is demanding such a reduction. In a warning to the Tory leadership, Mr Clegg said there is a “shorter leap” than anyone thinks to Britain exiting the EU in “an outright crisis that would leave the UK fully marginalised”. Exactly. Fully marginalised like Norway and Switzerland, both of which are doing very nicely.
