The NHS could be led to discriminate against the over 70s to meet ‘highly unethical’ UN health targets which seek to reduce premature deaths in younger people, senior medics have warned.

Under the proposed Sustainable Development Goals, UN member states will be given targets to cut the number of deaths from diseases like cancer, stroke, diabetes and dementia by one third by 2030.However because many are age-related illnesses people who succumb to those diseases from the age of 70 are not deemed to have died prematurely and so are not included in the target.

In an open letter published in The Lancet, an international group of ageing specialists say the new guideline sends out the message that health provision for younger groups must be prioritised at the expense of older people.

Prof Peter Lloyd-Sherlock, professor of social policy and international development at the University of East Anglia, and lead author of the letter, said: “This premature mortality target is highly unethical, since it unjustifiably discriminates against older people.

“We already know that there is age discrimination in cancer care and surgery and these targets give that the stamp of approval. The targets are not quite set in stone yet, so we have a final opportunity to impress upon the UN the need to alter this explicitly ageist health target.

“If this doesn’t happen, people aged 70 and over will become second-class citizens as far as health policy is concerned.”

This plan looks remarkably like the Death Panels that Sarah Palin was ridiculed for referring to when opposing the fascistic health bill known as Obamacare. Is anyone surprised, sneering hypocrisy in denying the true extent of their authoritarianism is the stock in trade of the political left.

But like Patrick McGoohan in the 1960s version of the cult TV classic, The Prisoner, we must all learn to say I am not a nimber, I am a human being.

Value Statistical Life Years is a mathematical algorithm developed by two Harvard (where else, Harvard has become the spiritial home of america's globalist version of fascism,) professors in 2003. In their preamble to the research paper they published setting out the idea the following paragraph sums up the theory:

"Under the life-years approach, older people are treated worse for only one reason: They are older. This is not an injustice. Every old person was young once, and every young person will be old too (if given the chance). In fact an important form of reciprocity is built into the life-years approach. If regulatory policy is based on life-years, every person will, in a sense, be both benefited and burdened, and in exactly the same way. Indeed, every person will be both a beneficiary and a victim of the relevant discrimination. People–the same people–will be benefited when they are younger and burdened when they are older."

One of the authors of the report, Cass Sunstein, is now Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs for the Obama administration recently tried to distance himself from that research paper by saying, "Things written as an academic are not a legitimate part of what we do as a government official. So I am not focusing on sentences that a young Cass Sunstein wrote years ago." Sunstein's wife (sorry, spouse - we can kill off the old but mustn't upset the gay lobby) is Samantha Powers U.S Ambassador to the UN. That may of course be pure coincidence.

Those of us who are well read in history recognize the parallels between the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and Hitler's Aktion T4, a Nazi plan in which 'useless eaters' would be euthanised. Sunstein's job title reinforces the comparison; Josef Goebbels title was Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda for Herr Hitler's regime.

We must also consider whether the plan might be linked in any way to the obsession the ruling elites in developed nations have with displacing indigenous people to make room for third world immigrants, which would be entirely compatible with the aims of the United Nations' fascistic Agenda 21. We need only recall this quoptation how the Labour Party pushed immigration to change the electorate in England to understand that such a scenario is feasible.

This article from The Daily Telegraph explains the huge increases in migrants over the last decade were partly due to a politically motivated attempt by Labour ministers to radically change the country and "rub the Right's nose in diversity", according to Andrew Neather, a former adviser to Tony Blair, Jack Straw and David Blunkett.

He said Labour's relaxation of controls was a deliberate plan to "open up the UK to mass migration" but that ministers were nervous and reluctant to discuss such a move publicly for fear it would alienate its "core working class vote".

It is to be hoped all reasonable people will view this repugnant plan with the contempt it deserves. While certain members of the Obama administration, including the president himself, are convinced the United Nations is an ideal platform on which to build the global government neo-Nazis and Marxists have dreamed of for almost a century, this Sustainable Development Plan illustrates the fundamental flaw in such thinking. Western leaders tend to be guilt addicted, university dumbed - down, bourgeois clowns whose self loathing leads them to want to hand power to bureaucrats from countries where a man who survives past the age of fifty is considered old. Thus the people who have designs on making rules for health care in advanced countries have no understanding of the needs of populations in those countries.

In the west health care for the aged should be covered based on the contributions they've already made. These mandates are designed to transfer health services from the developed to the undeveloped world. As much as many people might feel the west has a debt to the poor countries, it is up to the people of those countries to raise their own standards of living rather than allowing the money poured in by wealthy nations be stolen by tyrants or siphoned off by corporate pirates. We can show them the way, but it's up to them to make it happen. If we do it for them, as we British did under colonialism, once the unmilical cord is cut the thid world nations will in a few decades revert to their former state.
